  • Once again, these are cut up videos from a class I taught to my Pupu Ori, Lokelani's Rhythm of the Islands a while back. If these movements are easy for you at the level I am dancing myself, then bend your knees lower and apply larger hips. My favorite part of this is the instrumental music! It is perfect for you to train on your own with either your own drills or the ones I do in the video. I hope you enjoy! Leave a comment what you enjoyed from this follow along!

    Mahalo for the video. I get daughters raised in mainland but like learn tahitian dance. I've done fetes in the past but this is one of the best follow along dance instruction I've seen. Great video Maruru!

    How can I position my legs/feet because my knees go in. So when I had them close together I can’t really bend my knees and it hurts my hips
