Big z also won the arnold classic 8 times (most ever) which is ridicolous seen as how the arnold is seen as a tougher competition than WSM which mariusz never even entered and many other contests big z won that mariusz never won, big z won 2 IFSA championships, set world records that still havent been broken like the log in a time when record breaking wasnt as big as it is today and no cash prizes offered for records, won Lithuanias strongest man 17 years in a row thats almost 2 decades as the best plus 100s of other trophies . And with the IFSA split that meant mariusz competed against a very low class of competitor as all the best athletes went to IFSA and not WSM. Big z is without question the greatest of all time if you dont know that you don't understand strongman. Theres 100 reasons why big z is better than mariusz
@@rorycreane7581 WSM is the most important title. Even Brian Shaw said so. Mariusz beat Z twice in WSM and super series. Z outweighed him by like 100 pounds.
@@ronaldkalinowski1828 mariusz was the best on those days where as big is the best of all time consistently. And big z won 2 ifsa and 4 wsm thats 6 world titles compared to mariusz 5 world titles. Worlds strongest man is just the competition name it doesn't mean you are the strongest man alive its well known the arnold strongman is a lot harder than wsm and big z has 8. Watch big lozs youtube video explaining all this and you might actually understand the sport rather than being a casual fan
This is pretty damn good evidence why just having mass doesnt help - Mariusz's superior conditioning really helps him!

@superbleeder98 they all juice you goof. He just had the combination of mass and speed which is something that is rare and very hard to beat.
He do train way harder actually.. the americans strongmen that trained with him said it was impossible to keep up with his pace.. and he trains at least 2 times a day with a lot of conditionning on the side. Truly a machine, the ultimate strongman

Pudz never complained about the size of the handles on farmers walk implements, he just picked up and sprinted. He was a machine. Credit to big loz as well , he had a superb grip

@@siergiej882kowaliow3 Kieliszkowski nie dorasta Pudzianowi do pięt ani umiejętnościami, ani ogładą. Kiedyś słyszałem wywiad jak deprecjonował osiągnięcia Pudzianowskiego twierdząc, że tyle to każdy jest w stanie udźwignąć i że wtedy były inne czasy. Jasne były inne czasy bo była inna wiedza na temat doskonalenia umiejętności strongmenów w porównaniu do dzisiejszych czasów. W dzisiejszych czasach młody Pudzian dalej dominowałby nad resztą stawki. Kielich to zwykły cham i prostak. Prawda jest taka, że Pudzian był tak mocny w swoich czasach, że Savickas spierdolił do zawodów innej rangi na pół dekady bo wiedział, że w tamtej chwili nie było na Mariusza mocnych. Co prawda powrócił w glorii chwały, ponieważ w ostatnim sezonie pokonał Pudziana, nie mniej jednak w ogólnym rozliczeniu nasz rodak był lepszy.
PS. Jedyny błąd jaki popełnił Mariusz Pudzianowski to dołączenie do MMA. Było oczywiste, że nie poradzi sobie dobrze bo rozbudowana fizyka ciała mu na to nie pozwoli. Mógł pozostać w strongmanach i zdobyć jeszcze kilka mistrzostw, ale po prostu chciał spróbować czegoś innego.

I can’t even explain how hard this is! I lifted two 5 gallon water jugs at work today, for the water cooler which was located over the other side of the factory, I carried one in each hand and went all the way to the other side of the factory without stopping or putting them down, it felt like my arms were about to fall off when I put them down! That was only about 20kg in each hand, this is between 125/170kg their lifting here!

Now i can carry 60kg in each hand for about 30 feet. then I rest then repeat.

People Rage Quit the Strongman games because of this guy, no joke. Walked right off stage, due to not standing a chance and not wanting to look so bad on live TV.
Big z rage quit both WSM and European strongman because Pudz dominated him so badly in both for years. Came back in this one because pudz had a torn arm and was leaving for mma.
@@thecensoredmuscle563 Big Z beat Mariusz at World's in 2004 lmao. He also didn't 'rage quit', he just signed the IFSA contract which everyone at the time did except Mariusz. Don't forget that Mariusz never won a single Arnold's either whilst Zydrunas has 8.

Just goes to show that conditioning/endurance when you delve deeper into its functionality, is still a form of strength that still needs to be directly worked on. Mariusz being the prime example!

He absolutely obliterated Big Z in this event.
He always destroyed big z in WSM and European strongman. Z just was able to win this WSM overall in 09 because of that torn arm pudz had. Look at 36 seconds look at his arm. He was only able to train for a couple of weeks.
This was Big Z's first time back at WSM in five years, and he won... Pudz won in an era of diminished competition due to the split in the sport. And he quit the moment he started losing. He still beat those he competed against but everyone knows his WSM win record has an asterix.

Shaw was in this WSM in 09, also the one in 08. Shaw took 3rd in this WSM.
They actually weigh almost that. Try your bodyweight per hand. I can lift my bodyweight per hand but not that long.

@@ronaldkalinowski1828 that was for cocaine. He was coked up at the 04 WSM. You can tell just by the fact that he did so poorly and was acting crazy at the end.
They are all juiced up, it's just Mariusz does cardio and eats less than the others.
