It's worth mentioning that nighthawk was closed for my visit and I haven't been to the park since the opening of Aeronautica Landing and those rides!
Great List - That Top 4 of Carowing Coasters can hold their own over a lot of great parks. I think they are 2-3 coasters away from being on the Elite Park level - RMC the Hurler, add a GCI like Mystic Timbers, and add a B&M Surf coaster to add a Coastal Carolina Vibe and this park could be right up there with a Cedar Point or Kings Island as far as Cedar Fair Parks are concerned.
I enjoy riding them Enterprise flats, it's like a calming trip through a meadow. So relaxing.
I kinda feel bad for Copperheads because they are a very docile snake, they just love to chill, but C-Head Strike is a cool coaster.

I waited almost an hour for Vortex for the credit the one time I went several years ago 😅 nighthawk was like a 90 min hour wait and it was horrific lol fury is just SO good! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I love your fun touch on your channel 💛 keep it up! 😊
I do love Carowinds. One of my 4 "home parks", and my favorite of them. It has such a great coaster line-up... until you get down to the few poor and even awful ones. Fury, my most ridden and all-around #4 coaster, is roller coaster perfection and a ride like no other on the planet. Afterburn is my second favorite invert after Banshee. I do like it better than Montu. Montu is great, but I find Afterburn to be even more aggressive and whippier than Montu. Copperhead Strike is so great. Such an incredibly fun roller coaster. I actually like NIghthawk a lot. I've never had a poor or uncomfortable ride on it. I don't understand why so many enthusiasts dislike it so heavily. Flying Cobras is another really good coaster. The surprise initial drop is great -- always makes my stomach drop, which I love. The inversions backwards are great. Intimidator is another great coaster. The trims never bother me, and I've ridden it many times when the trims weren't hitting. In fact, last summer, on a blistering hot day, all my rides on it were almost as good and aggressive as all my rides on Fury that same day. Enterprise flat rides (like Screamweaver) are my all time favorite flat rides. I've ridden them at many parks -- although, they are now defunct at all of those parks except Carowinds. I grew up riding Screamweaver when it was The Meteorite, and it has never gotten any less fun than it was so many years ago. Talk about an intense flat ride, overflowing with positive G forces --- and spinning upside down over and over again -- how can that not be fun? The roller coasters I genuinely hate at Carowinds are Hurler and Carolina Cyclone (Carolina Concussion as I like to call it). Both coasters are boring (especially Hurler), but even worse -- they are both extremely uncomfortable -- 2 of the most uncomfortable roller coasters I've ever ridden. Hurler is flat out painful as hell while Carolina Cyclone's repetitive discomfort is mixed in with some downright painful moments. Carolina Cyclone used to be a good coaster back in the 80's and 90's, but now it just sucks. I wish they would RMC Hurler and tear down Carolina Cyclone (and replace it with something like Maverick). I like the forces on Vortex, but it's either a little to extremely uncomfortable almost every time I ride it. I believe I've only ever gotten 1 or 2 rides on it that weren't consistently uncomfortable. Goldrusher, Richochet and Woodstock Express aren't terrible -- I just don't enjoy riding them since they don't do anything for me. And I never ride Kiddyhawk. I rode it once several years ago, and that was enough for me. Wasn't painful at the time -- just boring as hell. Oh, yeah -- I do like Electo Spin a lot, and one ride in Aeronautica Landing, which I don't remember the name -- it's the little airplane looking gondolas that flip upside down (that was a lot of fun).
