- Harihareshwar temple in Konkan is a famous temple of Lord Shiva, We started this journey from Harihareshwar sea beach then went to Temple and everything we did as part of this tour is given below
This particular video was shot on 20th september, this was the 4th day of our 16 day Konkan tour that started from Mumbai and ended in Goa.
Hotel at Harihareshwar - We stayed at MTDC resort Cottage Rs 2800 plus taxes double occupancy,
Breakfast at Harihareshwar - We had poha at the MTDC resort, price - Rs 60 per plate.
Harihareshwar temple visit - It is dedicated to Lord Shiva . It is believed that Sage Agastya Muni meditated here.
Raigad fort - To visit the Raigad fort, we reached its base point, Pachad but due to heavy rain we could not visit the Raigad fort.

Jijamata wada & Samadhi Sthal of Jijamata at Pachad.
We had dinner at Hotel Deshmukh - Pithla Bhakri Thecha along with Sol kadhi- Rs 80 per plate.
Night stay at Pachad - Sakshi Niwas Rs 1200 for double occupancy.

Poha is used as a breakfast every where in Maharashtra. We called "Pohe" locally inMaharashtra. Though we used to eat "Pithala, Bhakri & Techa" in every home in Maharashtra but it's mostly like in rural areas & its farmer loving food.

In Urban Maharashtra, Pithla is kind of fast yet healthy food especially when you run out of vegetables or are tired & want to cook something without much efforts. Zunka bhakri is another such food. It's like when Mom is tired she will cook pithla bhakri.

Harish bhai,Pohe is a standard breakfast in whole Maharashtra,whether it is Konkan or Desh ( Rest of Maharashtra on the Sahyadri Plateau ) Every region has its different way and taste of Pohe.It is mixed with our culture so much that even when proposed bride and groom and their families meet for the first time it is called as " Chaha - Pohyacha Karyakram" 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
So you can imagine every Maharashtrian is so attached to Pohe.

right side of raigad is in desh(western maharashtra) hence you found a person named "desh"mukh, he must be from pune or satara, totally different culture, they eat jowar bhakri and thecha, which includes groundnut, whereas in kokani diet, you wont find jowar or thecha or groundnut, raigad is divided on western ghats,,away from the sea , left side is konkan, and right is desh, or jowar bajra land, .....solkadhi and thecha is a weird mixture of kokani and desh(pune satara kolhapur) cuisine

18:19 I think Thecha should be made in mortar and pestle or in Marathi Paata varvanta. Mixer won't produce same taste as beating the ingredients would produce. But over-all very good food. 👌🏻👌🏻
Thecha, Bhakari and Pithla tradtional dish all over rural area in Maharashtra. Poha also traditional dish all over in Maharashtra for breakfast.
