Very good list! These albums also enrich my CD collection! Although I see 'Metal Church' more in the US Power Metal category next to bands like 'Vicious Rumors', 'Jag Panzer', old 'Savatage'. But that's just my personal opinion. As I said, all very strong albums! 👍
Glad you enjoyed the episode Tommy. Perhaps you’d enjoy the episode Heavy Metal Masterpieces, see link czcams.com/video/U96tb81Pmck/video.htmlsi=OyIOfc5EsmFXzE6c
Great picks. Thrash is my second favorite music genre. Here's my list (not in order): - Metallica - Ride the Lightning, - Flotsam & Jetsam - Doomsday for the Deceiver, - Metal Church - Metal Church, - Megadeth - Rust in Peace, - Slayer - Show No Mercy, - Anthrax - Fistful of Metal, - Destruction - Infernal Overkill, - Kreator - Pleasure to Kill, - Sepultura - Schizophrenia, - Sodom - Persecution Mania.
Thrash metal consumed me as a teenager and then Death Metal. Which might be the reason I get so much out of your channel. I missed a lot of superb rock/Glam metal albums back then that you’ve introduced me to. Can’t take any of your top ten albums out, I’d just expand it with German and European Thrash. Although Holy Terror and their Mind wars album would be top 3 for me👍
Hey Brendon, my top 5 1. Metallica - Ride The Lightning 2. Megadeth - Rust In Peace 3. Slayer - Reign In Blood 4. Anthrax - Among The Living 5. Testament - The Legacy
Just played Metal Church debut album the other day - still kicks complete ass! The incredible, unstoppable riff from the title song might just be my fav riff of all time - badassery!🤘
I’m a huge Megadeth fan but my favorite thrash album is Infernal Majesty -None Shall Defy …they were Canada’s answer to Slayer and that album just clicks with me
Kill em All- Metallica Feel The Fire- Overkill Fistful of Metal- Anthrax Violence & Force- Exciter Reign In Blood- Slayer Game Over- Nuclear Assault Power & Pain- Whiplash To Mega Therion- Celtic Frost Infernal Overkill- Destruction Pleasure To Kill- Kreator
My favorite sub-genre, jusy ahead of power-metal! My 10 in NO order: Ride the Lightning (Metallica) Peace Sells... But Who's Buying (Megadeth) Hell Awaits (Slayer) Forbidden Evil (Forbidden) The New Order (Testament) Fabulous Disaster (Exodus) Beneath the Remains (Sepultera) Agent Orange (Sodom) State of Euphoria (Anthrax) Cowboys from Hell (Pantera)
I got into Metal in 1990 with Thrash Funk Metal band Scatterbrain at age of 9 years old. You should do a video underrated or unique Thrash Metal bands like Mordred.
My number one would be also Master Of Puppets. Find the band after Ride The Lighting but Master was my first new Metallica album and what an album it is. No weak links
Metallica - Ride The Lightning Slayer - South Of Heaven Megadeth - Peace Sells Overkill - Horrorscope Sepultura - Arise Metal Church - Metal Church Testament - The Legacy Sodom - M16 Anthrax - Spreading The Disease Exodus - Fabulous Disaster Cool episode 🤘
I almost included some Sepultura but felt they were more Groove Metal like Pantera which is also why I didn’t include Pantera. But both bands are awesome.
Not into a lot of bands from this genre, often the vocal is a let-down...I only really like three: Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. Here are my faves ranked: 1. Slayer - Reign in Blood 2. Megadeth - Rust in Peace 3. Anthrax - Among the Living
My top 5 5 - Anthrax-Among the Living 4 - Sepultura-Arise 3 - Megadeth-Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? 2 - Metallica-Master of Puppets 1 - Slayer-Reign in Blood
This is James Brendon my top 10 is Metallica Ride The Lightning Megadeth Peace Sells Flotsam And Jetsam No Place For Disgrace Slayer Hell Awaits Anthrax Spreading The Diesase OverKill The Years Of Decay Exodus Bounded By Blood Testament The New Order Sacred Reich The American Way Metal Church The Dark
No.1 for me Rust in Peace, No.2 Countdown to Extinction, No.3 Among the Living, No.4 Peace Sells No.5 Spreading the Disease Early Metallica where James Hetfield just belted out the lyrics and wasnt trying to " sing " would follow Megadeth and Anthrax for me. I am not really into those other bands.
Strange list to me! With no albums from from the outstanding leading bands from Germany. Destruction, Sodom and Kreator for me better than most of the US stuff execpt from Exodus debut wich is the best!
Yeah, I've noticed that, while I greatly appreciate Brendons enthusiasm and his prolific spreading of great music, he can be a little contentious with viewers comments - proceed with caution.
While Exodus came first, Anthrax was actually signed and recorded first so it stands to reason they were part of the big 4….and they were way bigger than Exodus, so there is that too 👍
See how that would throw me off since this video is about the Top 10 Trash Albums. But any channel call “Music Television” that doesn’t play music is a joke. I’m wearing the shirt for Headbangers Ball…not MTV 👍
I definitely agree, Overkill should without a doubt be in The Big 4 of Thrash Metal
And I love Taking Over - but I think Horrorscope is the better album
Very good list! These albums also enrich my CD collection! Although I see 'Metal Church' more in the US Power Metal category next to bands like 'Vicious Rumors', 'Jag Panzer', old 'Savatage'. But that's just my personal opinion. As I said, all very strong albums! 👍
Good list. Another vote for The ultra violence by Death Angel🤘
My favorite metal sub-genra. Fast drums, virtuosity and darkness 😊
This was really cool!

I’d have Death Angel in there. Either Ultraviolence or Frolic. Great list though
I love Frolic & Bored is such a great song
Anyone here likes Exodus?I remember having their 1990 album Impact Is Imminent on cassette awesome riffs
You did see that I included Exodus in this video right?
@@BrendonSnyder i just asked if anybody likes Exodus particularly Impact Is Imminent
@@CutiePie-hh3gg I do- Fabulous Disaster is my own favourite by them.
They are awesome,I've got most of their albums. I like atrocity exhibition A, and Atrocity exhibition B so crushingly Heavy
Yes, I’m a huge Exodus fan!
Hey Brendon, my top 5
1. Metallica - Ride The Lightning
2. Megadeth - Rust In Peace
3. Slayer - Reign In Blood
4. Anthrax - Among The Living
5. Testament - The Legacy
Metal church has not done a song or album I didn't like
Agree. Don't think they have done a signature masterpiece album, yet, but they also don't have a dog in their discography either.
Same. A band that is overlooked by most.
Just played Metal Church debut album the other day - still kicks complete ass! The incredible, unstoppable riff from the title song might just be my fav riff of all time - badassery!🤘
I loved state of euphoria by anthrax! Great album!!
I’m a huge Megadeth fan but my favorite thrash album is Infernal Majesty -None Shall Defy …they were Canada’s answer to Slayer and that album just clicks with me

Great list Brendon!
Glad you enjoyed it Scott

nice topic Brendon , one of my fave genres , ( sorry Anthony ) ,
number one eh ?? Ride The Lightning , does not get any better than that ..,
I don’t think Anthony dislikes Thrash…he just doesn’t like genre names and calls everything Rock
@@BrendonSnyder , exactly , that was what I was alluding to ..,
Hello from France brendon 😊. Bernie bonvoisin the singer of trust was very friendly with bon Scott 😊.
At the next vidéo brendon 😊

What obout a Top 5 Overkill video ?
I’m trying to do more Album Rankings so upon the release of their next new studio album, I’ll see about doing a full album ranking.
I want Kreator🤘
No.1 for me Rust in Peace, No.2 Countdown to Extinction, No.3 Among the Living, No.4 Peace Sells No.5 Spreading the Disease
Early Metallica where James Hetfield just belted out the lyrics and wasnt trying to " sing " would follow Megadeth and Anthrax for me. I am not really into those other bands.
Strange list to me! With no albums from from the outstanding leading bands from Germany. Destruction, Sodom and Kreator for me better than most of the US stuff execpt from Exodus debut wich is the best!
I’m not into German Thrash….for me it does not have the “Old School” sound of what I consider Thrash to be.
Kreator and destruction song like old school trash.
The german sound is more evil and a passage to black metal wich I ❤️
@@Uforobban if you don't agree with him he gets angry. Be careful 😜
Yeah, I've noticed that, while I greatly appreciate Brendons enthusiasm and his prolific spreading of great music, he can be a little contentious with viewers comments - proceed with caution.
Overkill should be number 1
In your Top 10….sure 👊
Anthrax shouldn't have been part of the big four, instead Exodus should have been there

The new MTV is a joke, same goes for VH1.
What is this in relation to?
@@BrendonSnyder I saw MTV on your tee.
MTV was great in the 80s when they actually played music videos.
See how that would throw me off since this video is about the Top 10 Trash Albums. But any channel call “Music Television” that doesn’t play music is a joke. I’m wearing the shirt for Headbangers Ball…not MTV 👍
