    Keith, this is stunning! I wish I could watch it in real time. This would be perfect for my countertops. You're very talented!!

      Thank you so much, Sharon! In real time it was 1 hour 15 minutes and unfortunately, we tend to lose a lot of viewers with long videos. I did teach this technique to Mitch Quist with Stone Coat, and although it wasn't live or in real time, there may be additional info that may help you.
      And if you have any questions, or if I can help in any way, please feel free to reach out at Keith@kcdcdesigns.com .
      Here's the video I did with Mitch:

    These veins are beautiful! I especially like the one in the middle that fans out. I'm going to try to recreate it in my colors when your friend Mike comes to help me later this month. Thank you so much for recommending him. I can't wait to see how my new countertops look!!!

      I love all of your color combinations but that board you showed at 5:33 min is what I'll be trying to accomplish . I won't be able to make that exact design (I just don't have your experience and talent) but just a color scheme . I'll be repainting my island in Mediterranean color, which is deep turquoise /teal with navy undertone and more gray than brown counter will look fantastic ! The rest of my cabinets are painted in light taupe color...I'll practice with colors. Thank you so much for showing us how to do what you're doing so perfectly !!@@kcdcdesigns

      If I remember correctly, other than the undertones, all the veins on that one, at 5:33 were made with spray paints. That sample board, IIRC was created for my first paying customer in March, 2020 :) . It's a popular design and you can certainly pull it off!
      I love the colors you've chosen and can't wait to see what you create! Please keep me posted and you're welcome to reach out any time if I can be of help. Email is keith@kcdcdesigns.com

    This is helpful. We are thinking of doing this throughout our 4000 sq ft house. Plenty of area to cover. Please do more. Add shower walls.

      Thank you, and what a fun project you have ahead of you! I'm editing one now which is the same design, only on a larger surface.
      Shower walls will be coming later as they require a ton of product but I will also be doing some projects on 1" foam, and showing the steps.
      Thank you again for your comment!

    This is absolutely gorgeous! I am currently binge watching your videos thank you for sharing all of this information. Is it possible to do a similar sample without using spray paints?

    • @kcdcdesigns
      @kcdcdesigns  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thank you, and thanks for supporting my channel!!!
      Without spray paints I don't know that you could achieve the same effects, and/or the ability to manipulate it like I can with spray paints. I think if you let the epoxy set up a bit, so it's not so fluid, you may be able to run very thin veins of different colors of epoxy, then run a stick through them to create the striations. Honestly I've not tried it, but if you do, please follow up. I will also try it to see what type of effects I can get.
      Thanks again!
