These dilemmas are getting wild 👀 the aunty in me is like “Little Girl, focus on your studies” 😂
I think ppl lose track of the difference btw needs and wants. If basic needs like food, shelter, clothing, clean water, physical and mental health, some money in the bank, and a few ppl who love you are met, consider yourself blessed. Waking up in a place where bombs or bullets arent falling, where you have agency over what happens to your body is a blessing. Having a job and a life to keep you active is a blessing. This is why gratitude is so important. It helps remind us of what we have, even when we're trying to move to next level. If we get obsessed with the next destination, we'll never be satisfied. There will always be more than you, someone who is prettier, richer, smarter, etc. You have to learn to be content who you are regardless of outside circumstances which are always subject to change.

Ppl need to spend less time online and more time in their reality. The environment around you is what normal is for you. Do not compare yourself to a class you've likely never been in. If you come from the projects or working class, assume that you will have to work. Your partner will expect you to work to make ends meet. If you want to date ppl in a higher tax bracket, consider what you'd have to do to be a desirable partner. Or even be in the same vicinity as them. Would you have to pursue or already have a certain education, career, finances? Are you willing to get out of your immediate social circle, exercise and maintain yourself? Do you have the type of temperament they'd be attracted to? Do you cook and clean? What skill sets, value system, or benefits would you have to offer in return? If all you're offering a man who doesn't even know you is financial burden, ignorance, drama, and a bad attitude, why would he want to invest in you?

While its not uncommon for one partner to be more financially stable, both parties have to add positively to each other. Otherwise it tends to lead to bitterness and growing apart. Your purpose in life should not entail being a trophy wife who has no responsibilities. God gave us each some ability to be of use to others in this world and if all you're doing is wasting away be it behind a screen or constantly spending money on things that won't matter, youll never fully become the person youre meant to be. I don't understand how anyone who came from a single parent household could be oblivious to their mom struggling to pay bills and the sacrifices she had to make if she was a decent parent. That in itself tells yoy that trying to to make ends meet is hard. It is even harder work to elevate to a higher class. But certain ppl don't care past your ability to provide for them. This can be a consequence of being spoiled, sheltered, or living at such a deficit you only view ppl as tools to use.
