That last shot by Colorado bounced around on the rim enough to cut like 2 seconds from the remaining time. Made a huge difference.

@@Ace_v120 if you blame an entire game on one play and ignore the entirety of the game then you are a loser on and off the court. He flopped anyway.
Refs made bad calls against both teams and it equaled out. They made questionable and1 calls but called them both ways. Only issue with the last push off is that the foul would have allowed Florida to shoot foul shots since they were in the bonus. But at the end of the day, bad officiating isn't really an issue as long as it's not one sided

Year after year they get more picks than the ACC and Big East, and year after year the entire conference falls flat.
The whole Mountain West narrative is also complete lie, barring a couple teams that conference is a joke.

This was the best game of the tournament between these teams, who had never met before. I felt they were both better than their seeds given and this should have been a round of 32 game. I feel for Florida as it was such a fun year to watch guys like Clayton and Richard play for the Gators. Hopefully they reload and come back next year and make a run!

Amazingly efficient scoring by the Buffs. No midrange garbage. Either 3's or taking it to the rack. In fact, the only midrange jumper I spotted was the game winner.
The midrange game is what makes basketball an art.
High efficiency games happen from within the arc. Because Colorado didn’t settle for so many threes is exactly what helped them maintain their high efficiency. They took plenty of midrange shots, but the lane was open all day and they attacked it well.

@@mvpfocus It’s more efficient than putting up a bunch of threes. You can call it garbage but the fact is, a shot closer to the basket is more likely to go in 🤷♂️ lol
I understand that an argument can be made for shooting enough threes to gain that extra point versus shooting from midrange, but that only works if you’re getting open looks from three all night. That doesn’t happen often. And all the energy spent trying to get an open look from three could be better used working it from inside the arc.

The SEC has sent too many to the tournament for the last 5 years.
Y'all got football, but the Big East and ACC are just objectively better conferences in basketball.
Only reason the SEC is getting these bogus selections is because of their super conference realignment.
It is clear and blatant corruption, not based on the actual quality of teams.

The SEC hasn't won a single national championship since 2012...
NCAA official championships don't start until 1939, so the SEC has 12 NCAA Men Basketball Championships, and half of those are before the 80's.
The ACC has 15 national championships, 11 of them are from the modern era (64 teams), and have won 3 in the past 10 years.
If you need to bring up championships that happened before desegregation, then you've already lost that debate.
Walter Clayton Jr. is just different animal. Watched him here at Iona for 2 years, plays BB like a football player. He left it all on the court, heartbreaking to see UF fall short with that effort and non-call..

What a game. I dont know if i ever remember a tourney game that both teams put up a 100 pts. Oregon kept Colorado in the 60s the other day in the pac conference championship. This makes that performance all that more impressive. Much respect to a good florida team. Colorado is much better than a 10 seed, so florida kind of got a bad match up here. The pac got really disrespected this season. Oregon had to win the conference championship to get in. And Colorado had to win a first 4 out game to get in.
And Colorado needed the refs to win today.

Game of the tournament and maybe the year unbelievable finish.
11 perfect brackets remained. The 10th ranked Buffaloes of Colorado takes down the 7th seeded Gators of Florida in a matchup where both teams scored 202 combined. No exceptions for Kevin Harlan though because he is the best commentator around.
This was a true back and forth game.

Side note I still like Rafferty with his onions, and wishing Greg Gumbel the best on a speedy return.
