Great info, my only holding in the hydrogen market is Bloom. Between the inflation/lending rates and dogma of the 3 pillars this industry is barely hanging on. I believe it will survive but I expect some serious consolidation.
All the Tre BEV's sold were recalled last year, and my understanding is that they are still recalled. Until Nikola finds a new supplier of battery packs there are few if any Nikola Battery Electric Trucks on the road.
They DO have a new battery supplier and are in the process of fixing and returning the trucks...they hope to have them all done by the end of Q1 - mid Q2.
@@Spoof2k3 that is great to hear. Do you have any links to published information about this? Who is the new supplier? I haven't found any evidence or announcement of this on Nikola's web page or via a Google search.
@@Bham67look into their last ER presentation .. they don’t tell the new supplier but they state that they are currently fixing the trucks and begin re-delivery end of march ..
@@Spoof2k3 if they sign contract with Quantumscape to get battery from Quantumscape then it is perfect move.

It's like he said in the video, sales so far barely scratch the surface of what is possible. We're still in the early days of fuel cell/electric C8 trucking, but the future looks promising. I say 'Hold'.

All other manufacturers, except Toyota, are abandoning hydrogen for battery. Why continue when investors are not going to back hydrogen.
To run a long haul Semi which I drive . You would need at least 10,000 lbs in batteries to drive 5 hrs then what? Sleep for 19 hours? Like Really doesn't make sense $$$$.
@@truckerwayneThe tesla simi has 500miles fully loaded and take 30mins to go from 10 to 80 so while you take your brake or loading unloading the truck it can charge
@@mcsike7264Tesla semi battery is too heavy and because of this won’t be able to carry heavier loads. Cargo load is one of the most important things in trucking.

@@mcsike7264 No it doesn’t it’s way heavier than a diesel powered semi. There no way it can haul as much as a diesel truck. There’s a reason it hasn’t been widely adopted, it’s because it’s a failure.

Couple days ago I was in visit to my uncle in AZ his neighbour is working for NKLA he said the bussy as hell and he is going all in, i am thinking to get 1000 or so shares if it drops below .70.
Did you get them? Why is the stock so battered if their products are legit?
I hear there is major accumulation going on with hedge funds and institutions although some may not buy penny stock. It is also traded a lot with massive liquidity.
Look at volume since July 2023. It’s more than even during 2020 meme trade.

@@Mark-cz5vwWhile I'm sitting waiting for my Semi to charge batteries then what? I have a load with 2 or 3 hrs to drive with an appointment and batteries are dead then what? Pay a $500.dollar late fee .And miss my next days load and sit all weekend because of batteries? NOT I don't think so
Still risky but I do think it is worth a speculative investment. Dipped my toes in at .70 for $500 worth. Will look at it in a couple of months!

Toyota has been the pioneer in hydrogen and has not let up... Once the country embraces hydrogen, charging stations will be built. Fingers crossed.

@@tharobaap8433 True, but it can’t lift a thing. Diesel tows better but it doesn’t offer the best for the environment. We have to try to figure out what will keep these semi trucks going without diesel.

As long as the total loss doesn’t hurt you, its worth a gamble… the NKLA mousetrap or the HFCEV will have a very challenging payback period….especially after factoring in the cost of green Hydrogen

Elon is the real fraud Tesla semis are a joke. Heavy giant batteries for semi trucks is not going to work. Fuel Cells are the better technology for long haul heavy loads.

@@RebelRanger2009 it takes a lot of energy to liquify/compress hydrogen. If it was truly about the environment they would let the free market come up with better alternatives. And our puppet government ran by Israel would release free energy patents. But no that's too good for us slaves.

Easily but not cheaply. That’s the most expensive way to extract hydrogen. So I doubt it will ever be a mainstream fuel in any meaningful way
