WOW! an air max day to remember! not.....
nah, there didn't seem to be much fuss, or much hype from nike about air max day, most of the people that were into it the most were just us collectors and sneakerheads.

It’s weird how the sneaker culture evolved and we have sneaker heads working in the industry and we have consistently just got worse and worse drops since. It’s almost like the old dudes were just more lit at making something original.
I totally agree with you, the older men who helped to create the classics are for the most part gone and this younger generation is more focused on making money than making an IMPACT. We are in interesting times...

Air max 1 royal is a perfect 86 OG retro and it's easy to cop. What else do you want?! How about the ultramarine 180 og coming back soon. These are absolute classics

Goat were on a scam today. Some of the releases sold out within 1/2 a second of releasing which is impossible and even now for the ones that don’t say sold out, you are waiting in the queue, I left my phone in the queue went to sleep for a bit and I’m still in the queue. Such a scam
I hit on TWO of the Travis Scott Air Max 1s on goat. I snagged the Baroques and the Saturn Golds. Never won any drops on goat ever, and then two in one day... Wild

Yeah Nike has been straight lying lately about stuff selling out and trying to create interest through scarcity as opposed to just being innovative or creative to generate interest.
Dude it's nothing new to nike and jordan brand. Iv been a sneakerhead for over 20 years. They purposely make unlimited amounts of "limited" shoes. And everyone eats it up. Especially on the resale marked 😂😂🎉🎉😂😂

Mostly agree. The new DN is a yawn and I'm not a fan of the Volt midsole. I understand the reference, but it's just too much Volt for me (and I feel the same about the 2014s). I passed on everything Nike released today, so it felt like any other Tuesday honestly. I did get the Royals last week and they came in time to wear them today. The only energy came from that GOAT event....which I took a bunch of Ls on. So no different than trying to cop anything from SNKRS.
Some of the colors of the air max DN sold out haha or almost. I think like 2 colorways still have colors sitting

Certified hood classic bussin banga.. copped 2 pairs of the DN from Brisbane city, both the ‘Killer whale’ pair & the ‘all night’ pair. Surprisingly comfortable but very different from the TN, keen to see how they go over the next few months 🇦🇺☝🏼

Tried Dn's in-store but am going to pass, felt like any other Air Max on feet with the forefoot midsole lacking cushion. Very appealing colours on shelves so kudos to Nike for that.
I’ve had a pair for 2 weeks. Lucky on the shock drop. They probably are the most comfortable am I’ve ever had
@@JasonMcClusky Good on you. Lots of Dn's in a number of retail outlets here in Oz. Air Max 90 SE's I find the comfiest of the Air Max series, even the cheaper Air Max Dawn are very comfortable.

Happy am day. Didn't buy any although Nike seem obsessed with reminded me about those horrible imo I don't even know what they are dn or something. Probably will grow on me. Got a tech fleece windrunner coming today bought for cheap really 57 delivered 77 on Nike with 20 off gracefully by them. Came in handy.

Very disappointed with the whole event, Nike did nothing with the story telling of the day on the app. Should have released a few more classic pairs.
Totally a flop, is suppose to be a 10th anniversary AM day right, but look how quiet it is in my region (Singapore). Those releases are just not worth it IMO. Big sizes in US sold out is for the resell market there, no doubt.

Pretty much a flop except for the regular Royals. The DNs aren’t great and the Royal/Volts are mehhh. I’m happy I got the Royals. I got the red ones from last year as well. Just need the USAs and I’ll have the three Big Bubbles that are worth a shit. Well so far. We’ll see if they decide to drop any other nice colorways this year
