The lava came so close to that fellow's house! Nice to see that he can now access it and retire there. Mahalo, Gabe. Yes, great lens!

It is really fantastic, I'm am really chuffed that home owners are returning to Leilani Estates, but man what a view from the back yard. Also thanks to Dane for the drone footage, to see fissure 8 from the air just doesn't look like it's on Earth, with all of the weird colours and the scar that torn across the land. Finally, thanks Gabe for sharing such good news, aloha. 😎😁🏝️

Very nice new lens! I'm glad to see someone is able to go back to their home. Is it safe though? There is still steam coming from Fissue 8. I'm very much hoping that is the last of the lava. So sad that so many others lost their homes. Why is it that the state isn't clearing those roads? Thank you for letting us see what's going on and for the great drone footage too. They aren't showing us updates on the news anymore. Take care everyone!

Every time I go to Home Depot and see bags of crushed lava rock for sale at an astronomical price, I think of scens like this ; ) I so admire the determination of people who live with such an intimate interaction with Nature!

Instead of helping the good citizen people of Leilani Hawaii, Donald J. Trump prefers to force an unwanted humanitarian aid to Venezuela by any means necessary, even if it means military intervention. But in the meanwhile, the news "FOX, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Bloomberg none of which even mention not once what happened in Leilani, let alone telling us what the people over there are going trough. This is an outrage.
