Sorry to my main audience but I am a theme park enthusiast at heart and so I had to post this after seeing it myself. Regular Buxton uploads should still be coming every Saturday at 11:30.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard a crowd gathering for a coaster test in my life. Usually the park would try to keep the progress as secluded as possible until it opens.
It’s quite an atmosphere around the coaster even though there was a lot less people on park than for the first test run yesterday. Also very hard to hide this project it’s pretty darn big aha
The lift-hill drive seems very smooth, and though I can see its teeth, I can't hear the anti-rollback device clack-clacking... It also seems to lose almost all momentum when cresting the peak of the final loop, I wonder if that's just because the water dummies are lighter than typical humans? Hopefully it won't rollback on that loop and get stuck in the previous trough..!
I think it’s just the wheels squealing because it started raining and it’s a very tight track section at the start. It should go away once it’s been tested more :)
Coasters aren't going to roll back on a lift hill, also there tested with dummies that simulate people and the first stop test run it took 25 mins to go up the lift hill, a coaster wouldn't roll back on a lift hill even if it was motionless, that would be far too dangerous.
Even if the ride somehow did turn out to be mid (which I very much doubt that is the case) it would still be better than your comment 😂 saying a ride is mid without riding it is pure nonsense

I wish I was there... stuck in the U.S., love that for them, though!! 😮🎉
That outer bank is probably the best part of the ride
It’s that or the drop for me!
@@Leock especially in the back
First drop
I'm hoping to get a back row om my first go. Being whipped down that first dropped would be amazing.
So Awesome To See Hyperia Finally Test! Yesterday's Run Ran Very Slow But Thankfully This Time It's Going Faster!
Yeah it was great to see it do a full run without stoping :)
@@Leock And Now We're Only 6 Days From Opening! I'm Going Day After Opening
Never apologise for what you love.
Very true!
holy crap those inversions are insane
I know it’s super exciting to see a ride like this in the U.K. Can’t wait for the 24th May :)
It's the drop I'm amazed about, I'll be surprised if it's not rated one of the world's best drops.
Definitely looks a short ride but some cool elements in a compact space
I don’t know if it will feel short when riding it but we will soon find out
The time hillllsssss are madddddd omg I can’t wait
DANGEROUS EYE SAW!!
It’s certainly not dangerous but an eye saw quite possibly
I really want to go to Thorpe Park and Alton Towers!

It’s been running far quicker recently and the lift hill is fairly quiet but cresting the lift it does clack a bit.
I'm super excited can't wait to go on it in June.
Genuinely can't tell if I'm going to like the drop or that overbank into inversion thing most. Only one way to find out ig
Hyperia 1 looks too intense for me!
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
Thanks, you too!
I can’t wait to get on this thing…
Soon enough we can!
Nice footage of the testing - the elements look mad - roll on the 24th May
The day can’t come soon enough!
Also physics. That crate is empty. Imagine the extra weight of people.
It does have water dummy in the ride car, they do an excellent job of simulating the weight of people on board :)
@@Leock Makes perfect sense. A little risky for a first try but deffo with the extra weight. I'm an idiot and apologise.
You’re not an idiot it’s alright not to know these things :)
@@ricksanchez5949Bro just subtly called you an uneducated swine in Cambridge.
It's not as long as I thought it would be.....its just spread out....
To be fair when you ride it the first four elements are drawn out enough it doesn’t matter that it’s short
Hyperia gives you wings
With that Immelmann definitely
Can’t wait to ride this 🤩
Soon :)
Omg that’s mental
Indeed It will be ace
@@Leock ikr
Do you have any idea what that sound is at the start of the ride? Is it a permanent sound or not cause I'm not sure if I like it or not 😂

top 50 in the world without question
Well we will have to wait and see if that’s true
Might need a little more speed on the lift hill... can see it rolling back when full!
I’m sure it will speed up a little more. It was also a gusty day with Swarm intermittently closing due to the high wind speed.

I'm not loving the colour scheme but everything else looks great!
I would agree with you here it’s not the best I’d rather it just be white but it looks better in person
Is that taller than pepsi max and stealth
It is at 236ft.
coaster seems very short for what it could be
It is the U.K. after all we don’t have many long rides :/
This is a ride. Prove me wrong with your up and down nonsense. Thorpe Park baby. Strap in.
Bro I know someone gonna fall first day bro
Certainly not, these rides are 100% safe otherwise they’d never open to the public, it’s gone through hundreds of test runs before people can board.
I hope it gets faster. It looks too slow for my taste.
It’s already running much faster that this video
The elements seem way too big, pacing seems off with many dead spots..
It’s a lot different now, since this was very early into testing.
Mid
Don’t think many people will be saying that after ridding it.
Even if the ride somehow did turn out to be mid (which I very much doubt that is the case) it would still be better than your comment 😂 saying a ride is mid without riding it is pure nonsense
