45:59 Just for anyone who didn't catch that... the card for malignus states - half of the highest life total amoung your [opponent(S)] rounded up... which means that the actual power at this time with all OPPONENTS life halved was a 48/48... plus damage can't be prevented and gets tripled if it attacks a permanent or player... (144/144)
It's hard to tell but I think you drew a card for Ilharg at 33:10. If you did that would have been a mistake since he didn't enter the battle field that turn he just switched controller.
Hearing the Prof yell "Fuck!" at the end made this whole episode for me.

Loved this one. Prof seemed so relaxed and "out of character," it was just 4 friends hanging out. I'm new to JLK but he also seemed to be able to run off host-mode and relax. The C@H team does a wonderful job creating and fostering that environment, and it was adorable that not only did they buy Prof's whisky, but he seemed so touched. A very comfortable episode, thanks
Be sure to check out Game Knights if JLK is new to you. They've got the best Commander game content out there, in my opinion. Fantastic editing and great game flow.

@@Shydoshi17 I still love it but I've felt it has maybe become a bit too heavy on the editing... I, personnaly, prefer Shuffle Up & Play or C@H for gameplay (or even Commander Clash but the MTGO interface is not the easiest to watch)

@@ThePavelGSyeah the prescripted bits in Game Knights with the players are... awkward. I love the show and their guests but... they aren't actors, and those mid-game talking head segments really show that. Game knights feels very PG, which is probably why they are partnered with wizards themselves and have millions of views per episode, but it's still not my favorite.

The emotional journey from Prof chaos warping away Ulamog to revealing the extra turns miracle spell he put on top of Josh's library to learning Olivia and Kibbler got his favourite whiskey 🥃 was fantastic. Plus Josh gets his revenge against Brion Stoutarm.

I have watched Hundreds of hours of commander games, across numerous channels and i can honestly say that this was one of the best games i have ever seen played. You can tell that you all had such fun, exactly what commander is about. I felt like i was watching friends play FNM it was wonderful.

This was a fantastic episode.
The shouting out of alternative channels at the beginning/end was hilarious and awesome.
Always happy to get notified a new episode is up. Everyone is enthusiastic and genuine and it reminds me of my old playgroup. Now nearing 40 we’re lucky to have time to play more than twice a year. A lot of commander channels seem so robotic but you guys make me nostalgic for those old “real” games with friends.
What's critically important, is Josh forgot to ask prof "Do you pay the 2" when he drew his last card of the game. lol

48:00 probably the best play is to wait until the kibbs's turn, then if he attacks you, fling the malignus, otherwise wait until kibbs's end step after josh does all his thrasios activations and runs out of mana to fling the malignus at josh. That way, you can keep brian from attacking you for a turn, and still have a turn left before brian gets another chance to attack, and josh is out of the game.
Malignus was put into play with Ilharg which bounces it back to hand at end of turn. Should have just cast it to keep the table off of prof, but it is what it is. Always go for JLK first.
The smarter move is to simply cast Malignus rather than cheat it out with Ilharg so he could've actually done what you suggest. But who can resist the urge to swing with a triple damage Malignus?

Such a strong guest line-up week after week. You guys quickly became my favorite commander show... however, I must profess that the Profess is best.
I feel like I comment this on every episode this is definitely one of the best, I'm not sure who schedules/decides the guests ( I know most people on this show are your close friends) but this is another banger. Jim + AliasV, Arin + Kyle and now this. Definitely had a different vibe than the other episodes but in a very good way. also the card catalog is such a nice addition to the room!
This was an amazing game, the pure joy, chaos and chemistry here really shows it was a group of friends playing together, rather than showhosts and guests - so many great moments, quotes and plays!
