Goblin Sharpshooter is actually a Kobold. It's shorter, which is why they forced it to become a sharpshooter.

I'm sure this gets mentioned a lot, but I always love how Kibler is so willing to help explain and optimize game actions, even if they're bad for him.

This is the clearest example of "Kill Josh first" and everyone proceeds to forget to kill Josh first.
Tbh games like this give me the feeling they are staged, how can they miss thread assesment so hard.

@@Paga650 countrary to popular belief most games of commander are not actually about winning. People make sub optimal plays and even just down right bad plays for the fun of the game instead of the win. I've thrown away many wins in commander just to allow people at the table to have fun and be able to do something instead of getting locked down the entire game until their dead.
If everyone was optimal and actually focused on good threat assessment then every single person in the game would look for the person posing the biggest threat and would instantly gang up on them until they died and not allow them to do anything in the game at all. It would make for an extremely unfun format that goes against the entire core foundation of what commander was built on. Also FYI im not talking about CEDH in this example as that is an entirely different experience where everyone at the table opts into that type of experience.

@@bodkie depends where you are in the US. In rural areas, the south, and the Midwest its very common for people to have them on them or for people to get together to go out and shoot. I dont think that the coasts are not like this though.

The dynamic between these four was especially great, and this channel sets a consistently high bar with guest chemistry. Also, because I don't think it gets said enough, Olivia and Brian are definitely setting relationship goals, based on what we see on camera. Gameplay fuckups are bound to happen, and I couldn't care less; it's the atmosphere and the chemistry that keeps me engaged.
I knew the reference, Josh... "The Fourth Kind" ruined me as a young adult... I thought it legitimately real for years
I knew it was blair witch style going in when i saw it years ago when it came out, but just the way its done and the acting gave more credence to the fact this shit could be happening. Alien abductions is one of my only rationally irrational fears that i legit cannot control, That scene about the OWLS in particular stuck me with to this day, i got goosebumps just remembering it when Josh said it. It like how i feel with ghosts, i don't believe in them rationally, but im not so brave at midnight in a old house by myself sometimes, as much as i'd like to think otherwise.
I love the moment that Voxy realised that she wasn’t the sword of Damocles anymore, although I do think the game was more fun before that moment

Such an amazing game, Voxy going to 100 real quick, and Josh even looked as if he enjoyed himself more than he has in a long time. Olivia and Kyle Hill (the Pro version) were having a blast.... I now feel commander at home is the best commander channel out there. No shade on other channels, but after this episode, nothing can compare, period !!

Kind of nice to see Josh playing like a normal player. You know, taking time on his turn, talking it through. Game knights is great, but the editing makes the "play" just so much sharper than in my games.
Josh sounded almost defeated by his own deck at the end...like "well, maybe this is...too good."
Putting Skullclamp on Esper Sentinel is a pretty Chad play honestly.
I mean it is not the best play, or even a good one honestly, but the advantage you get in the mental game from everyone else questioning why you’d ever do that is unbeatable. Even if you lose the game on the board, that play will not leave anyone’s mind for some time and that’s a win all on its own.
