Fight attendants are magic to kids...... I remember drawing the pilot a picture one time,I think I was around 7 years old and he came on the overhead speaker and thanked me. The flight attendant promised she would give the pilot his picture and she did. As and adult now I always remember the flight attendants kindness and how she followed through with her word. ❤️❤️❤️

My mother was a Stew. Not a Flight Attendant, a Stewardess, 1958. She always told me that Flight Attendants are there to keep you safe. Drinks are a benefit, not a right.

Stella, About the Diet Coke, tip from FA to FA, turn the can a full 180 degrees, completely upside down. It keeps the fizz down even at 40,000 ft. Add ice once the DC has reached to 3/4 of the glass. This tip has saved my sanity on the plane.

@flywithstella Thanks a lot for taking care of us while on long haul flight. I am a frequent flyer. I had my ankle fractured and was flying to SLC, Utah from Amsterdam, I was treated like a baby and had a wonderful experience. I was literally awestruck! The flight attendants took a good care of me as I was on wheelchair! Hats off to all the flight attendants and the pilots! Its not about serving drinks and food, they literally make us smile with the way they handle things during flights! Thanks to all the FA’s out there!

Your videos are fun to watch. You have so much energy. I was on a flight recently with a young man sitting next to me who was in his final weeks of flight attendant training, and was essentially doing practicals. They didn't have enough jump seats, so he was sitting in a regular passenger seat during takeoff and landing. He had the same level of energy as you, and you could tell how excited he was to be doing what he was doing, not just putting it on. I am sure you have days you have to force the happiness, as does everyone, but I feel most flight attendants are generally happy people who love what they do.

Canadian here! I have mostly been on flights in Canada & US. One time I flew Internationally to Asia on JAL but I can’t remember what I flew on in Canada & US Domestic flights. I tend to kind of just work to manage my anxiety and forget everything else. I’d say one time getting off a flight in Canada, I barely had enough time to grab my carry on bag. I wasn’t aware of needing my passport if I wasn’t crossing a border. I think it was a small flight either from Toronto to Vancouver or from Calgary to Vancouver. I was just relieved to be walking off the plane but still had extreme anxiety so that wasn’t a good time to literally have a flight attendant like seriously yelling at me like a drill sergeant to get my passport out. Like wow! No “welcome to beautiful British Columbia” it was drill sergeant “I SAID! GET OUT YOUR PASSPORT NOW!” Not sure what was with that flight attendant but it made me believe that the majority of flight attendants are just too stressed doing their job. That drill sergeant flight attendant actually made me like have just one more thing to really not like flying as if it wasn’t something I liked before I really was for sure not liking the next time I’d be forced on a plane. And unfortunately, I was just starting to be ok flying only then to get accosted by that flight attendant who acted like I personally was a HUGE inconvenience to her. I was thinking... “wow, can’t these flight attendants just relax a bit and maybe just kind of help set the tone to help those of us who are anxious flyers to kind of be calm? Like honestly, if I see a flight attendant scared I will literally start hyperventilating. So I really need the calm, welcoming, pleasant greeting from those I first see walking onto a plane when I’m literally trying not to crap my pants or pass out or something.
However, since my last flight being accosted by that flight attendant I’ve come to know a couple people who are or were flight attendants so my judgement of flight attendants being rude and generally hating their jobs has changed. I just wish that I encountered more flight attendants like you who were bubbly and who so obviously is wonderfully talented in making the overall experience of flying an enjoyable one which really helps those of us who have a considerable amount of fear flying.

The fizz in Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi is not due to the airplane environment. What makes the over fizzing is the absence of sugar. Since there is no sugar in diet soda, the bubbles created by the carbonic gas have much more space to move around and they spread all over. 😉

Good team work spirit. You need that to work with all sorts of people and you need that if you enjoy working. It is not the work that makes it difficult but it is the people. Therefore you have to know how to deal with all sorts of people.

I flew twice over the last couple of days. We usually fly with Southwest since my mom travels with them so much. Two great flights! I was dealing with some of my chronic medical issues on the flights and the flight attendants were awesome at checking on me and making sure that I was ok. The flight attendants make flying great! Thank you guys for all you do! Tell your friends over at Southwest thank you for two great flights over the last week!

Love your vlog. I never order diet coke LOL. What is your biggest pet peeve about passengers 1. embarking, 2. in-flight & 3. deplaning? I hate it when passengers block the aisle, take their time to remove their coat, keep looking around, then put 17 bags in the overhead bin then continue to stand & look around. Then they open the bin to retrieve something, all the while people are waiting. Then they do it to deplane. And these people are seated in a front row but just outside business or first class. While flying, I dislike nasty kids who run amuck & the parents seem oblivious.
Does not stop me from travelling.
