Thanks for the informative video Akshat, please also make some content on what shall be the idle or suggested portfolio with break-up for individuals under different age groups under different asset class, secondly I think its always better to keep some part of portfolio in assets like gold maybe 3~5% for benefitting in unknown circumstances like pandemic/wars situations etc.
One question- why you did not consider the tax rate while suggesting the investment in FDs. For ppl in 30% tax slab 7% interest rate would come down to even less than 5% which makes no sense at all and obviously can't beat the inflation at all. Am I missing anything here? Thoughts?

Hi, I have downloaded Vest app through your link. I was trying to make investments. However, when I check returns, the 5 year returns on IndMoney app and Vest app for the same stock is showing different. Can you suggest why is this happening? I don't know which of the two apps is showing correct returns?

I was thinking of investing in FD as the interest rates are high now and I agree that the interest rates will not go too high from now. However, I did not think about G-sec. Thanks for opening my eyes.
You can get good returns in Shriram unnati fixed deposit (NBFC) it's as high as 8.3% for 5ys deposit. But I advise always have 50% money in index mutual fund or Index ETF, as no one can predict the market.

the vested link takes to login page and upon login shows somes vests which are proposed by the app. The vests as recommended by you is not availabe thru the link.... i have tried this several times.

If your mutual funds are more the one year it come in long term gains and will not have to pay tax upto 1lac gains. So you can book profit till 1lac and can invest some where else. If thinking of FD you can also check Shriram unnati fixed deposit it's a NBFC having 8.3%interst rate for 5ys deposit. Don't do single large FD, spread in different banks or NBFC'S.
