- I made it finally. The entire front is sanded flat and clear coated. This video is gonna show you the journey after finishing all the epoxy coats from the previous videos. Took me weeks to get all sanded up with the occasional downtime due to the freaking cold weather! As always let me know how to improve in making these videos for you!

Looks amazing you should see if you can get some forged carbon look wrap to do the doors. That snow looks like when I was in the Netherlands for work recently first time seeing snow was way too cold for me.

What is the clear filler you used ? I'm laying carbon on my full widebody and this would probably help speed the process of all the epoxy layers
Does the epoxy not post cure when subjected to summer's heat and shrink a little?

Unglaubliches Ergebnis! Hut ab! Als kleinen aber wichtigen Ratschlage würde ich dir einen Staubsauger beim Schleifen ans Herz legen. Der Abtrag ist deutlich besser und die Schleifscheibe wird auch gekühlt was der Haltbarkeit und dem Ergebnis zu gute kommt.

That was a lot of work but in the end it is worth it! Will you do any other part with forged carbon??
Damn I was asking myself the same question, it's terrible amounts of work for what you get really. I wouldn't mind doing it again for smaller bits again or even parts with more flat surfaces, but a r34 front bumper, in forged carbon, once more? someone would have to pay me alot of money to go through that pain again.😂

Yeah man, the pin holes are the worst! The clear body filler is called Carbo-Putty and is made by Car-System/Vosschemie in Germany.

Bro sehr nices Video und sehr wildes Auto, aber eine Frage habe ich. Weist du wie die Rechtslage aussieht mit Carbon laminierten Teilen bezüglich Zulassung, TÜV und den “freundlichen” Helfern ?

Also ich hab tatsächlich schon nachgefragt und mir wurde gesagt da das unterliegende teil gfk ist macht es kein unterschied zu lack, solange also das gfk teil dadrunter eintragbar ist, sollte alles in ordnung sein. Ich kanns dir zwar nicht garantieren aber das wär meine kleinste sorge an der kiste :)
@@LXGspec Alles klar, gut zu wissen. Glaube das ist noch so nh Grauzone. Hab bei uns mal nen Polizisten gefragt, der meinte: “da es sich nur um die Laminierung eines Teil handelt welches zugelassen ist ,sollte das eigentlich kein Problem sein. Aber dadurch das es bei einem Unfall anders reagiert ist die Zulassung somit erloschen” daraufhin hatte ich gesagt das es bei einer Folierung ja nicht anders sei und bekam von ihm nur einen fragenden Blick zugeworfen. Am Ende meinte er nur ich sollte mich da mit dem TÜV bezüglich Zulassung auseinander setzen😂
Beim TÜV bekam ich nur als Antwort: “ da bin ich überfordert”

Is this a fully front forge carbon fiber skin?
The bonnet was made as "forged carbon" and the bumper/fenders I skinned myself after widening them!

Just got interested in this today… what are some basics or tips/tricks you could possible help me out in, as you are more experienced then me.
@@artemkvas2246I'd start off by researching carbon skinning and in general some composites work, I'd recommend the EasyComposites yt channel, they make super quality content and they are my supplier for most of my consumables!
