#2. You said it's Oxycodone and Acetaminophen but chose Oxycodone and Aspirin.
this is a great video takes me way back I've been certified for almost 7 years now and I remember how hard it was taking this test I wish everyone luck!
Tylox is C2. Xanax is C4. Please do this right coz were trying to learn
Just wanted to stop by and thank you! I saw your videos and helped me a lot! I passed my PTCE
Awesome!! Congrats!! Happy Pharm Teching!!
This video was very helpful thanks
-taking my nat. pharm tech exam tomorrow. just found this video. after taking once before, understand I need to be careful on the laws and regs, and calculations. Any site you'd suggest for the last 36 hrs?
this is sooooo helpful thank you sooo much
#6. Is Xanax, Tylox is a CII. All Benzodiazepines are CIV I thought.
Thank you! I came to say the same thing.
Hello, very interested in aligning up for your class, how does one do that?
Percodan is a combination of Oxycodone and aspirin (ASA), not acetaminophen.
Thank you i knew i was right ASA is aspirin
Thanks. I was like I could of swore aPAP was a acetaminophen.
Um, Percodan *is* oxy-ASA, but ASA is aspirin, not acetaminophen. Also, I'm sure this is no longer a top 200 since we've had 0 prescriptions for this in the past year.
i think he is thinking about percocet
Mason Green i just thought the same thing
Hi, I`m extremely lost on question #11. is it possible to do a similar one or even break down the steps again? Thank you
First, we need to figure out how much 1 tablet (or 30 tablets cost). Line = line. Which comes out to be $16.67 for 30 tablets. Then with a 15% markup, you would do another line = line. 100%/16.67 = x/(15%). x = 2.50. Because its a mark up you add them together. So you are now sitting at $19.17 plus the $6 dollar dispensing fee. Which brings the total to $25.16
I need the practice tests plz
Number 8 is wrong. Tylox is a schedule 2, not a schedule 4. Answer should be Xanax
True and, what's more important is that Tylox has been discontinued, due to the high dose of APAP.
Xanax is a 2
@@bigpimping15 No it isn't
Where is percodan? I'm looking at my book and a source online and didn't find this brand. Is it popular?
+Alan Castillo can u plz tell me what book are you studying from
Hi, can you talk about Drug interactions. thanks
On question 3, you don't need to do anything with the TID before calculating?
Oop, sorry, missed the per dose. Nervous. It's almost time.
apap is acetaminophen...xanax is the schedule 4...what are you doing
Xanax is also a schedule IV though.
on question number 11, when i cross multiply to find the price for 30tabs, my calculator gives me the answer is 46.47, not 16.47? I wonder if my math is right
Quynhanh Tran I was struggling with numb 11 as well can you give more examples of this one.
This is really late but I like to visualize how much the whole bottle costs so I did $55.56 X 1.15= $63.89 then divide that by 100pills which makes each pill $0.6389 each so then 30 pills will be $19.16 + $6= $25.16
The cross multiplying thing has always confused me honestly
Can u plz explaine the math section more clear.
Percodan is Oxycodone and Asprin not Oxycodone with Acetaminophen and Xanax is schedule IV not Tylox which is schedule II
I would like to get your book where do you order it from
+christopher fleming The book is available once you sign up for the class.

You said tylox is schedule 4, but it is actually xanax.

Lomotil is a schedule V
Isn't Xanax a schedule 4?
+Shaun Sajan Yes, you are right. I actually correct myself with a comment at the point in the video. Thanks!
+The Fun Pharm Tech oh ok. Well thank you for your videos, I just took my ptcb today and ur videos were really helpful.
+Shaun Sajan how did you do on your pharmacy technician text
+Minnie Glover i passed, it wasnt that hard i studied for like 5 days. If i were you i would take the practice test online, the ptcb is very similar to it
Congrats Shaun, you recommend the practice test online? do you mean the test that the PTCB website actually is selling for $29? Appreciate your answer.
Can’t you just use a proportion for the first one.
hello is me ahmed mursal so i watch ur videos and i have pharmacy technican diploma, so i need you to help me pass my cptb test
Go ahead and shoot me an email and we will discuss your options. pharmvilletech@gmail.com
HUUUUUUH ????
ASA = ASPIRIN
APAP = ACETAMINOPHEN (TYLENOL)
Answer 2 should be B , not A
No, percodan is Oxycodone and Asprin. He chose right, just decided to say apap instead for some odd reason. (Percocet is oxycodone + apap)
I'm taking my text on May 26 any help would be very appreciative I ordered a book by James j Mizner
+Minnie Glover The book is available once you sign up for the class. Email me at pharmvilletech@gmail.com and we can talk
how was it??
Problem number 1 is wrong you are preparing 2 liters of 6%. this is the FINAL strength and volume not the initial.
That's what I thought?
Barbara the answer is correct.
The answer is STILL correct. Although the correct set up is technically
X-vol x 10% = 2L x 6%.
the answer is correct
Fahima A Salam
...
