I grew up in Nelson BC (Canada)where this was filmed. I was 16, it was summertime. I worked for the movie company . There were movie stars and their friends all over town(small town, was 8,500 back then). It was so much fun! And then the next summer when the movie was actually released was exciting too! There was an actual release party at the local theatre. The locations manager/ scout grew up in Nelson and was the reason it was chosen as the backdrop for the movie! This background music brings back so many memories!
Wow that sounds like such a fantastic experience. I’ve always wanted to visit Nelson BC thanks to seeing it in this movie which is one of my all time favourites, looks such a beautiful and scenic town ❤
Sometimes the sax can sound so cheesy, but on "Starry Sky" it's just beautiful. Love the last scene as the credits roll and Comet Charlie slowly arcs over the sky.
OMG I love the music! Makes me cry, it's soooo beautiful! And they're so cute together, especially when they're fighting :). Truly, a classic comedy from the 80's. Thanks for posting.
