Everything meaningful in life happens in silence. Look at how the trees grow, the flowers bloom, a baby grows in the womb, a child grows once born. This things don't draw attention to themselves as they are happening, but one day you realize a transformation has occurred. Silently. Purposefully. Miraculously. Thank you Valentine for reminding me to look inside myself for the answers I seek.

Going through the comment section an i bump into this and honestly these past few months have been the hardest with dad going through the radiotherapy, now the chemos, maaan!!!! Its been tough but all in all God reigns and soon we will give a testimony of how we overcame all these trials. As my bestie says, it gets better with time and never give up hope

Attended the Vipassana 10days silence retreat in Dec 2023 and like you , totally recommend it to anyone ready for inner reflection. One of the most challenging parts for me, was the room sharing(-with a total stranger). Was grateful that we were not allowed to communicate in any form or shape .So looking forward to a repeat visit
December 2024 as a perfect gift for myself

Free lancing truly requires people like you. Also...yoga ain't a good thing as much as it is highly recommended. Has very deep cultic foundation. We should rather meditate upon God's Word on our knees. Research about that. I recommend you to Revelations of Jesus Christ by brother Werks. Don't ignore please. Glory be to Jesus!

I have started my 5 day journey to self-healing. I will be taking 3 silent "alone sessions " to self reflect on myself, my flaws, wins, strengths, weaknesses and all that. I'm hoping to be somewhere at the end. Valentine your story is inspiring and you're a 👌👌 storyteller.

Came across this video early this year and when she talked about vipassana I was interested on attending..I attended vipassana last month..and this was transforming for me..no more anger, pain, giving up..it's all about power,selflove,positivism and peace...I am enjoying the new me..indeed vipassana is the place to be

Vipassana is a very interesting experience... I lasted 6 days before I cracked and went home. I'll be back soon, now that they're open again. Listening to your silence is very, very difficult.

It's called Vipasana,it actually works and is held once an year here in Kenya.this year it can't happen coz of Corona
Yes it is. I do not know about courses in 2020 but I checked out their website and apparently it is held in Compuera School in Mangu, Thika.
