    Had a xj2025h, moved to a l3901, now needing a 70hp tractor, loved the LS, but dealer didn't when I wanted to upgrade. Like the features of the MT573. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day

    I just bought a LS 73 tractor, and was wondering if you could tell me what you're experienced with this tractor when it does it regen.
    Thanks

      So far they are good. Not sure how they will be after a little ware. But for now I like them. Thanks for watching.

    Is the rear differential bevel gear or planatary?

    • @3DFarmingLife
      @3DFarmingLife  Před 8 měsíci

      Thanks for watching. First I am NO expert when it comes to transmissions and gearboxes. The MT 573 I believe would be a planetary rear end. From my small amount of experience with bevel gear box the axle is offset from the center of the axle. ( I hope I explained correctly). The axle is a straight axle and not offset on both the front and back. There are probably smarter people that might be able to chime in.
      Thanks, I hope I was some help.

    I have a MT 573 with the power shuttle. If I am spearing a bale of hay going really slow and I’m riding the clutch the tractor tries to jump out of gear then when I continue to let out the clutch it jumps back into gear. This can cause the tractor to jump forward a few inches. Just enough to ram the hay bale right through the back wall of the barn. My dealers says the transmission is trying to keep me from riding the clutch but when I’m pushing the spear into a bale I need to. Does anyone know how to disable this feature and stop this jerking action?? Please help.

      I don’t think I have experienced this problem but I wonder if it has something to do with the clutch engagement adjustment? You may have already checked this out but I thought I would ask if you have looked into this. If not there is information in your owners manual or I did a video that covers theses adjustments.
      Hopefully you can get this resolved soon. Maybe someone else can chime in. Thanks

      Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll look at your video and the manual. The dealer understood the problem but hasn’t offered a fix.

      If you haven’t experienced this try this. Put the tractor in any gear and 1 st or 2 nd range then push in the clutch and slow the rpm’s down then release the clutch just enough to start the tractor moving th we n when moved push the clutch in just enough to move the tractor forward an inch or two at a time and keep riding the clutch as if you are trying to spear a bale slowly with pushing the bale forward. This is when mine will kick out of gear then back into gear. It is driving me crazy as I load hay a couple of days every week. Thank you for your help.
