No that's not bizarre.
People always believe what they want to believe and perceived reality arrives through that filter. It happens to all humans but some humans want to believe in objective truth enough and will alter opinions based on new information. Education really helps with this desire, its why science and mathematics and history are so important as they teach the reasons that evidence is important and what bias really is. Without exposure to these ideas the people are more likely to just believe what they want to believe and shape the facts to their opinions as they pass through the filter into perception.
These same folks think tRump's farts smell like roses.
They espouse whatever hate they are told. Think? Meh, not so much.
They love to spit out their talking points and then try to run over answers. Itâs a technique they constantly use.

As a Californian, Iâm happy to see my governor put Hannity in his place. Newsom isnât perfect but I think he has some really good presidential potential. I had wanted him to run for â24 but he wants to support Bidenâs re-election. I love my state and am fine with the exodus of trump supporters. đ
