  • Yes I have gone crazy for toy trains! They are just so darn cute. And compared to Redline Hot Wheels they are almost free! Well this addiction has been going on for about 4 years and I think it might be time to seek help and break free…..na!
Check out what I have for sale at www.ToyCarCollector.com Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.

What leads a guy to trains is to live near or pass by real trains everyday. Rail Fanning is an excellent hobby and very exciting. I live 4 blocks from the West East mainline and I hear train horns several times a day. The size and scope of modern trains blows your mind when you are 20 feet away. The next ingredient is to live close to a train shop that always has super bargains or high quality models. Trains also make an excellent focal point for RV travel through old time tiny towns that used to be on the rail lines but now have only an old station turned into a museum. The history of Railroads is fascinating!

I'll be completely honest with you. I typically catch all your Hot Wheels and Matchbox videos, but the train ones usually slip by me. However, this thumbnail really caught my eye! 😄 It piqued my curiosity about the video content. 😄 You're absolutely right about the power of catchy thumbnails. 😉

Nice video. The Bachmann in the "jewel cases" go for $5-$8 each. Most of the locos in the $25-$35 range. The Alas box cars and freight cars are nice, $4-$8 each. N scale can be a bit finicky on the track so some adjustment, lube, tinkering is usually necessary to get them going and keep them running well. Regular use also helps. You seem to have a bit of the train bug- everyone practices the hobby a little differently. You indicated you're not a builder, more of a collector and perhaps runner. Interesting.

My dream layout would be the one from this channel: czcams.com/users/shortsNlNRWNUcvko Here locally in Portland, Oregon there are no toy shows for diecast anymore so I took up going to train shows. There are quite a few shows and they are well attended. My local train store usually has nice HO Rolling Stock slightly used no boxes for $10 to $14 with Kadees and metal wheels so I check them out once a week. I think I am about done buying now that I have 500 pieces and 65 Locos. Time to start selling! Thanks for commenting.

    I like your videos.
Very cool . I am friend of Robby , he buys cars from you .
Trains - 3 months a year I run 2 to 3 train sets at one time in O Scale .
I also have a few sets of HO , but they always fall off the turns , so I stick with O Scale .
I am looking to buy a Z Scale train set , I never had one .
And then set it up in an old army trunk .
If you have Z scale , let me know .
    Cool video, big Like 👍.
    Mike Espo .
