    Great video! Looking to see more in the future! I live in the States and I hope to become a physio one day as I start my studies in Uni for Exercise Science in the fall. Also, how did you become contracted to work for a football club?

      Dedication and emailing local clubs for a voluntary position to gain experience and get exposed in the industry. From there you will enrich your CV to apply for a better position!

    It seems like you have a lot of passion of anatomy and physio as much as I do!
    I'm a second year physio student in Manchester and my dream is to be a physio for elite professional football clubs like you.
    I would love to know what you did after undergrad physio, is it a 1 year masters in sports therapy?
    Also what other complementary courses did you to enhance knowledge of the crazy fast recovery in athletes and the amazing knowledge you/they to have? i.e. K taping, massage, acupuncture etc?
    Thank you sir

My advice is to keep emailing football clubs, especially those local to your borough and ask if you can assist any how. This will help you built your skills and confidence.

    Hi can you answer these questions if possible please.
    How long does it take to become a physiotherapist? And after completing the course is it easy to get a job ? What is the best part of the job and also worst part ? Any tips for a young physio looking to start his career his sports therapy. Would be much appreciated thank you.

      @lunakorayner Před 2 lety +1

      Hey I’m a physiotherapist (sports and orthopaedics). It depends on where you study and where you live? Whether you want to work at a private practise or in a hospital etc… generally an undergrad BSc is 4 years. Physios are needed in UK for example so you shouldn’t have a problem getting one with the NHS

      Hi Miroza, thanks for viewing this video and I hope it helped a bit. Unfortunately there isn't a specific salary as this depends on both experience and connections.. However salary can range from 15k to 25k a year. In higher clubs you can earn up to 30-35k a year.

      Hi Mohamed glad you made this choice. To become a sports therapist you don't need much of preparation other than the passion for sports and helping people to get back to their bets form after an injury.
      I hope this helps, all the best my friend.

    Hi sir, what is the difference between sport therapy and sport physical therapy?

    • @Bravehearth
      @Bravehearth  Před 4 lety +6

      Well, sports therapy applies the principles of physical therapy. However the title sports therapy does not say much about the profession hence why "sports physical therapy" explains better what you do and in what field.
      In the UK a sports therapy degree is a 3 years BSc so is physiotherapy. However a physiotherapist requires a Msc in Sports injuries to work in the sports industry while a sports therapist needs a Msc in physical therapy to work in the medical field.
      There's another video in my channel that shows what other things you can do.
      I hope this helps.
      Best wishes

    What’s the difference between a sport therapist and a sport physiotherapist

    • @Bravehearth
      @Bravehearth  Před 4 lety +2

      A sports physiotherapist is a professional that completed 3y of BSc Physical therapy followed by 1y of sports therapy. A sports therapy only does a 3y degree.
