I just was going to say the very same thing it aggravates me that since I've been watching CZcams the past year anything I want to learn I have to watch about 10 different videos and maybe one of them are correct. That's anything from gardening to saving money to minimalism to facts about our Hollywood stars
I felt bad about her death, but apparently it was a short struggle with cancer so she didn’t suffer as some do, for years. She was my favorite, although I only watched a few episodes.
I hate to see beautiful people get old, wither and die. I wished it did not have to be this way.
I must inform you that Kirstie Alley has not passed away. She is still alive and active in the entertainment industry. It's important to verify the accuracy of information before spreading it.

Their characters will never age for they created one of the greatest American comedies of them all. Top three for me. We really cared about them, and believed that they were real people just like us, living ordinary lives. In my mind, Cheers will always be there and Sam will be behind the bar.

I completely agree with you. Cheers is a timeless classic, and the characters and their stories will always be relevant and relatable. It's a testament to the incredible writing and acting that the show remains so beloved even decades after its initial run. Sam Malone will always be an iconic character, and it's a joy to revisit the show and experience the laughter and warmth it brings.
Regardless of how these actors look now, they were part of an insanely talented crew, one of the best series ever on television. Everything else pales in comparison to that fact

Why use the word “regardless?” The actors are all 40 years older. Nobody looks the same at 70 as they did at 30. Nobody.

She looks great! Not to knock her but she must have had some kind of work done for her face to be that firm and with so few wrinkles but good for her,! Ted Danson I think is handsome I a different way now and looks great appears he aged naturally.
I'm shocked at Shelley Long's appearance! I had a very big crush on her! She was the whole show for me! To see her looking so awful is a shock!
I didn't realize most of the cast was so young when Cheers was being filmed. Of course, I was pretty young myself. In my twenties.
It's interesting to look back and realize how young some of the actors were during the show. It's a testament to their acting skills that they were able to portray their characters so convincingly. Cheers will always hold a special place in many people's hearts.

I agree, there's something special about the sense of community and support portrayed in Cheers that's missing in a lot of modern shows. It would be nice to see more shows that explore those kinds of themes.

I am firmly convinced that Cheers is the best US Sitcom there has ever been. I grew up on it the first time around and have watched it from start to finish many times over the decades. Its truly a remarkable achievement to have 11 seasons set almost exclusively in just one room. The writing and jokes are as funny to me now as they were almost 40 years ago. Its near perfection imo, I much preferred the Sam and Diane period over the Sam and Rebecca period but it still continued its high quality even after Diane had departed. Its easily my top US sitcom, plus Lilith was always hot !

I’m 1988, I had a young wife that looked a lot like Shelly Long and we lived in an old antebellum Southern money pit! She was also a classical musician…none of it aged well, but we have 2 gorgeous daughters that did!

Ted Danson looks great. He is an example how people with good character age gracefully with dignity. Narcissists, on the other hand, become horrible caricatures of themselves. Also most look like there are looking after themselves.

Your maths is out!! You got Kirstie Alley's age at joining the cast wrong. She joined the cast in 1985. That was 37 years ago. The age you stated when she joined is wrong, because she would be 61 years old, not 71!! It means she was 34 years old, NOT 24!!
