It could be something of a great benefit if the governors, governments and peoples of the north can come together in sincerity to make ad doc by laws and regulations that will check and regulate all and sundry within their subregion. We must come up with security laws that will address these monstrous threats to our lives and hold everyone accountable and punishable whenever both the led and the leader (anyone) engages, supports, finances, fails to report, is related to a culprit, and embezzles state funds or compromises the dividends of governance for the people at all levels.
Until such round-table brainstorming is willed, and the people can see the honesty and transparency of the States, there is nothing that is learnt from those DC workshops that will do the magic.

Never under rate the Northerners. Gov. Rada of Katsina may look young and not sophisticated but from the interview you will see a highly intelligent politician talking. Northerners are born administrator and shrewd politicians.

Did you say northerners are born administrators?
The past president was a northerner right?

@@oseremenilens3695 My brother you may not accept this obvious fact but let me give you a brief: I lived and worked in the North for a number of years and even participated in academic politics in which I was once the vice president in one of the higher institutions in the North. While my southern brothers ( Yoruba and Ibo) were sleeping or do I say Naive my Northern brothers had perfected their scheme to prevent me be the president just few months after my election whereas the next election will be in the next two years. My brother if we must wrestle political power from them we must definitely learn their tricks it is is in the 'gene' of a typical Northerner. But that doesn't necessarily mean they produce good governance.
