In reviewing the comments, we thought it necessary to make the following very clear. We are unashamedly pro-Israel. We believe God still has a plan for Israel. We believe the land of Israel belongs to Israel. We believe God will fulfill all the promises He made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, etc., regarding Israel. We fully support Israel's right to defend itself. With that said, we do not believe Israel is guiltless in this conflict. We do not believe Israel has handled its relationship with the Palestinians and its Arab neighbors perfectly. Just as the Old Testament records the nation of Israel making many mistakes, so has the modern nation of Israel made many mistakes. Pointing out those mistakes does not mean we are anti-Israel. Pointing out those mistakes does not mean we blame Israel for what is taking place. Please read the following articles: www.gotquestions.org/support-Israel.html and www.gotquestions.org/Israel-land.html and www.gotquestions.org/why-God-choose-Israel.html

Christians should not curse anyone: "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 15:21) However this does not mean that we should cling to one yoke with non-believers. Anyone who rejects Christ as their Lord and Savior is an unbeliever.

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. (Ga 4:21-31)
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. (Romans 11:4-6)
And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.(Zech 13:8-9)

A few slight corrections, my friend. Israel did not declare themselves a nation. The UN actually had a plan set in place for Israel and the Palestinians to each have their own land. The problem was, the Palestinians did not like the deal they were given so they joined several countries in going to war with Israel. The Palestinians didn't flee. They fought and tried to wipe out Israel with the other arab nations.

@@deanfry879He also said the Palestinians fled during the 1948 war:
The first thing they did was begin attacking Israeli settlements.
The United Nations resolution sparked conflict between Jewish and Arab groups within Palestine. Fighting began with attacks by irregular bands of Palestinian Arabs attached to local units of the Arab Liberation Army composed of volunteers from Palestine and neighboring Arab countries. These groups launched their attacks against Jewish cities, settlements, and armed forces.
The goal of the Arabs was initially to block the Partition Resolution and to prevent the establishment of the Jewish state. The Jews, on the other hand, hoped to gain control over the territory allotted to them under the Partition Plan.
After Israel declared its independence on May 14, 1948, the fighting intensified with other Arab forces joining the Palestinian Arabs in attacking territory in the former Palestinian mandate. On the eve of May 14, the Arabs launched an air attack on Tel Aviv, which the Israelis resisted. This action was followed by the invasion of the former Palestinian mandate by Arab armies from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Egypt. Saudi Arabia sent a formation that fought under the Egyptian command.

Israel and the Arab states did not reach any formal armistice agreements until February. Under separate agreements between Israel and the neighboring states of Egypt, Lebanon, Transjordan, and Syria, these bordering nations agreed to formal armistice lines. Israel gained some territory formerly granted to Palestinian Arabs under the United Nations resolution in 1947. Egypt and Jordan retained control over the Gaza Strip and the West Bank respectively. These armistice lines held until 1967.
It wasn't until they lost the war in 1949 that the Palestinians fled to Gaza and West Bank.

    Amos 1:6-8
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Gaza, even for four, I will not relent. Because she took captive whole communities and sold them to Edom, I will send fire on the walls of Gaza that will consume her fortresses. I will destroy the king of Ashdod and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon. I will turn my hand against Ekron, till the last of the Philistines are dead," says the Sovereign LORD.

Likewise, Jeremiah, Zephaniah, and Zechariah prophesied of Gaza’s destruction (Jeremiah 25:17-20; Zephaniah 2:4; Zechariah 9:5). King Sargon of Assyria conquered Gaza and probably destroyed it in 720 BC. Later, Alexander the Great destroyed the city again in 332 BC, after a lengthy battle. During the Maccabean period, Jonathan subjugated Gaza to Israel.

Zephaniah ch 2:4-7 " Gaza will be abandoned and Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday Ashdod will be emptied and Ekron uprooted. Woe to you who live by the sea...the word of the Lord is against you O' Canaan , land of the Philistines! I will destroy you and none will be left...the land will belong to the remnant of the House of Israel."
      Two interesting facts apply here:
#1 This has never happened...yet. It is a future prophecy which has perhaps started now.
#2 When Yasser Arafat was trying to hoodwink the Americans into recognizing a Palestinian state, he told them " Palestinians are the descendants of the Canaanites". Meaning that " We were here first before Israel". But then his advisors quickly took him aside and told him "Don't say that!" because God told the jews to kill all the Canaanites". So he changed his position and told them..."We are the descendants of the Philistines"...and that brought them exactly in line with this prophecy...even though they are NOT the descendants of Philistines...but they call themselves descendants. This shows you how accurate and trustworthy God's word is.

I’m usually very blessed, encouraged and enlightened by the content of Got Questions staff. However, this was a very important and unfortunate mishandling and misrepresentation of The Lord. The land of Israel is not up for division, sharing, or even debate with other people groups. I’m astonished of the lack of scripture used in this short sighted explanation. YHWH claimed israel as His special possession both in people and land. He put His Name in Jerusalem. Israel’s sin (among many) was agreeing to allow any other people group to possess any part of the land as the Lord God forbade to do.
I still enjoy the content of this ministry and the great work done here. Just disappointed in such an obvious mishap.

In general, I like the articles of Got Questions I have read. To me, this quality of the answer in this video is disappointing. With all due respect, I think it may have been better to say less or to say nothing.
Notice that although it is true that the Roman Empire scattered the Jewish people from the area currently occupied by the modern state of Israel, Israelites had been scattered previously by both the Assyrians and the Babylonians. Since antiquity, most of the descendants of those who were scattered have lived *outside* the land. (Today, as many Jews live in the United States as in Israel.)
I'm disappointed but not surprised to comments here which seem to imply that the Jews in Israel should exercise a divine right and a divine mandate to eliminate non-Jews from the Promised Land with violence. I agree that the Bible says that the Israelites of the time of Joshua and David had that right and that mandate, but I don't see Jesus or any of the apostles saying that the Jews of their time or of later times do. Jesus and the apostles were *not* Zealots.
Those who cite the passages of the Bible that says that God promised the land to Abraham and his descendants need to realize two things:
    1. Many of Abraham's descendants are descendants of his first son, Ishmael. They should think about that when they think about citing Genesis 12:1-3.
    2. God did not give Abraham or anyone else that the descendants of Isaac and Jacob an unconditional promise that they would inhabit and govern the land. Anyone who believes that ought to read the Bible beyond the book of Genesis--especially the books of the prophets, especially those of the prophets who prophesied before the Assyrian exile and the Babylonian exile, e.g. Jeremiah.

Leaders of arab countries for sure knew the history of Canaan land. They are descendants of Ishmael which acknowledge Abraham, Moses, David, Salomon & even Christ (Isa). They knew David was king in Israel, the land given to the Isaac, Jacob. For arab to deny Israel history in canaan land is denying their own religion. They also 100% knew there was no Palestines ethnic or nation exist. They knew history of Roman naming Palaestin as embarassment to Israelis.
What was happened at the early stage of land dispute is arab intention of power & territory. This has evolving overtime to more complex motivation to keep the israel Palestinian conflict on going.
Now Israel Palestine conflict is top #1 issue for:
    1. Neighbouring countries for political purpose: to distracts their muslim citizens everytime they facing domestic troubles. Look at Turkish Lira devaluation, & look at Iran Islamic regime recent teouble with the hijab protests.
There is no other issue in the world can draw unity among infighting between arab peoples compare to Israel - Palestine issue.
For this reason, arab countries leaders deep down in their wish for sure to let keep the status quo in this land for distraction in any time in the future required. Well as long as the Palestinians not entering into their territory (palestinians known as unruly trouble makers by Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait etc).
Even countries far away from the region use this for sympathy for popularity.
    2. Financial gain.
Every time conflict happened, countries around benefited with the rise of oil price.
Palestinians siffering from israel unfair treatments is number not selling topic, block buster for drawing attention & donations. (Even Palestines militants are always the one who start the attack).
We knew now also that Hamas leaders are all billionaires from donation & foreign money living lavish lifestyle in Qatar while ordinary Palestinians live in poverty.
These militants don't want peace came in this land as it mean no more support money for their luxury living.
Palestine israel issue also number one topic for religious clerks to get followers. And they too get financial gain.
Ultimately the ones suffered are ordinary Palestinians & Israelis.
Peace will come only if the 🌎 start taking any advantage from the issue and peoples across religion and nations need to be more educated & knowledgeable not fall into the bait thrown by relugious clerks, politicians, & organisations.
When there is no market buying the product, the politicians, religious clerks, & organisations will stop meddling. Peace will come for Israel & Palestine.

I will sum this up for those of you not seeing this clearly. This isn't about who the land rightfully belongs to. One could make the argument that the land belongs to those who are in covenant with God. That group just so happens to be Christians. Scripture say's there is neither Jew, Greek, or gentile in the body of Christ. We are all one. So ethnic distinctions are of no relevance in the Body of Christ. Which means that God's chosen have nothing to do with race.
What we should be focused on is whether or not an injustice is being committed. We determine this by measuring the actions of Israel, and Hamas by the standards and teachings of our savior Christ. Do we see "love thy neighbor" being exhibited by the Israelite's? Do we see "love thy enemy" being demonstrated? The main source of chaos, and destruction in that region is the lack of compassion, oppression, and inhumane treatment of the Palestinian people. Our Lord would not approve of how those people are being treated. That is what's at the heart of this issue. To ignore this, is unChristian.

You are wrong. The core of the conflict is categorically NOT any mistreatment of Palestinian people, but rather, the Palestinians want a total alienation of the Jewish race.

You are misrepresenting truth. Hamas, is a military faction in Palestine that wants Israelites entirely removed from the region. There is a difference between Hamas, and the Palestinian populace. Don't conflate the two. In addition, there are factions within the Israelite government, and populace who also want Palestinians entirely removed from the region. Hamas is an outgrowth of extremism, and the oppression of Palestinian people. @@cypresse1620

And not just any Palestinian but almost all of Muslims, actively or passively, love and support the idea and cause of total inhiliation of jews and then turn around play the victim card plus use the invalid term of "Islamophobia" and false claims of "Islam is a religion of peace"😂😂

Love thy enemy.. Love thy neighbor.. This is the standard put forth by our Savior. You're pointing your finger in one direction. You must have objectivity, and view this matter through a Christian prism. Would Jesus approve of how the Palestinians are being treated? Does it align with Love? Answer this for me please. @@incognitoprime9523

Do you support what the Israeli forces are doing to Palestinians? We as Christians are supposed to have the heart of Christ and seeing comments like astonishes me from professing Christians, also keep in mind that the Israelites were cast out of the land because of their disobedience. The Jews occupying modern Israel aren’t blood Jews but descendants of European converts to Judaism. God will call 144,000 people from the 12 tribes of Israel back into the land where they will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Gog and Magog are after the Millennium, which is after the Tribulation.
They will not be an issue for at least 1007 years.

Gog Magog's timing isn't universally agreed on. Some say it could happen before the tribulation starts. I'm not speaking against your position, of course. Just saying that eschatology is a fun, deep dive and after 25 years listening to it, I still hear fresh takes today, even within the pretrib camp. Either way, the rapture is what's important for us. Gotta keep watch and pray.
