I am so grateful for your courage and curiosity! The family story I have been told is my ancestors from Ireland. (And I just want to say I don’t know all 64 of my great grandmother so I could’ve been anything. I’m just speaking now)got here through a servitude contract and earned their freedom after seven years in the new Americas.

4:05 this question stands as an open invitation. Look at it, not from an emotional narrative that we were all told, and we either scoff at or get angry about.
Simply look at it from an economic and military view. If I can break into your house, take over the house, make all of the men, women, and children into slaves, why would I spend countless money by getting loans from the Rothchild bank and the Vatican bank to take cargo of people from across the ocean at such a tropical latitude that would know sooner take 90 days to complete, going into a network of pirates to procure the services of people who are mercenaries, build up an army to capture unwitting groups of people or have a warfare to capture hundreds of people
It stretches the realm of credulity and ultimately because the modern western world took over the world in a different way than what the history books brag about, no one has been able to take the evidence of transatlantic slavery and successfully bring it to court to win a case
You have one side, crying racism, and make a whole bunch of hollering about it and you have the other side hiding about it and sabotaging anyone ever finding out the truth that they didn’t do a 10th of things they done
The story we’re gonna have to deal with is likely far worse than the narrative that they’ve always told us happened
