That wink she gave her mom 😭 can't believe Lucy Dacus single handedly invented music and we were here to witness it
I noticed that wink and loved it too!!
The performance of My Mother and I has something touchful 🥺 I'm still crying while I'm writing this. Thank you, Lucy
I don't know what I like more: when KEXP presents a new artist that I've never heard of, or when they have on someone, like Lucy Dacus, that I've been loving for a LONG time.
Everyone say thank you KEXP
thank you kexp
thank you KEXP
Thank you KEXP
Thank you KEXP!
thank you kexp
I immediately started crying when I heard my mother and I 😭 I've never heard it before, im gonna have to relisten to it wow
No one ever notes what a FABULOUS guitarist Lucy Dacus is. It seems always to take backseat to her ethereal voice. But, Damn, girl. Ya’ll can PLAY.
hot & heavy is just something else, man. makes me feel things, especially the live version.
You're better than ever, but I knew you when...
The guitar in my mother and I is totally hypnotic. Beautiful music.
If there's a guitar in your mother you should take her to the hospital and have it removed
@@fenceyhen4249 should have used caps or quotes 🤣
Thank you Lucy! Your sad songs make us really happy.
just saw lucy live last week in new haven! she’s such an incredible performer and so smart
Thanks KEXP and Lucy. Love your new album Lucy.
"good job, mom" 🥺🥺🥺
4:15 cheryl, if you're having an existential crisis, it's the musicians who don't need to exist
we all are here for because we're cheryl fans

Very great Music
Hahaha. Love your observations on silence, Lucy. Vocal rest in the hardest! So glad to hear that even if by force of need you are caring for your body and voice. Eat veggies and drink more water. :) Love and peace to you.
I really like her song "I dont want to be funny anymore".
YAAAAY Lucyyyyyyy

I don´t like this new format of combining the interview and the performances. I like to keep artists mysterious and the bla bla bla crap ruins that. The previous format allowed me to skip totally the interview and go straight to the performance
I'd ask for your money back.
They've always had the interviews and the performances together as that's how they air them on the radio. They tend to put the clips with the performances out later but this is a brand new interview right now.
