Jamuary #20 - Filterbank Mayhem (ft. Spectralis, Octatrack)

Continuing my exlorations for Jamuary.
Today I explore the world of filterbank rythms, the idea is rather than to use regular percussion, is to create percussive sequences by opening and closing filter bands of different frequences.
The Spectralis is excellent for this, as it has a 10 band filterbank, which can be fed from from anywhere within the Spectralis (Oscillators, Filters , Noise) or an external input.
I've been meaning to combine this with Eurorack for a while now, and today is that day.
At first in this jam, I start just with the filterbank, using Plaits (in Eurorack) to feed it, and so its a matter of sequence the bands to open.
Im using the Octatrack mix and add fx, and later add some samples from my previous jams.
finally I start modulating the sound source in the modular environment...
time went pretty quickly, so defintely still lots to explore here.....but that has to wait for another day :)
