- Getting my course set up, as it is ever changing according to treefall. My GepRC Smart35 was the fastest today by 3 seconds over my two 4 inch drones racing through the woods, though it was extremely windy.
Action 2 seems to give the speed effect better than the gopro bones but the bones seems to be better video quality, and has been extremely durable so far, and I am on my 4th DJI Action 2 camera, good thing I get free replacements no questions asked at Best Buy with their plan that I already had. - Zábava

You are my inspiration to fly in the forest at the cottage. 😀 I imagine you sit pretty much at the center and fly around yourself. How far can you go in that forest before video quality becomes an issue? Are you using stock DJI antennas?
Been in w va mountains, and wanted to measure. I go right at quarter mile in thickest part of forest until unflyable, but close to twice that far in thinner density at 1000mw. Glad I can inspire you on forest part. Will stop by first chance I get and see how things are going!

doccock, when pushing it like in this video, ran a little over 3 miles retrieving drones. I use to walk but all that wasted footage I started running. I expect I'll be found dead between my goggles and drone one day. Happy as a lark.
That first one, you were flying like you stole it 🤯 that was so fast and smooth!! I liked the second one the best. But my favorite part of the video is 5:28 maybe it’s just the high definition, but that looked awesome!!
That last video was shot in 5k with a gopro 10 bones version. It does have a beautiful picture.

Action 2 not too heavy at all for Smart35. Usually do not use filters but was on this one, nd32.

Thank you Doc! I was running at 25 fps but have went back to 30 fps because youtube seems to make it stuttery in the processing of that frame rate. Was trying to save space on camera with 25 fps frame rate. Looks perfect on my SD card, but stuttery on youtube.

how the hell you dont lose video range? I went to forest and I lose range so fast :( i have gerpc 35 too
I love the geprc 35! I do place myself about in middle of course for best reception all the way through, and I've expanded this course. I put my vtx power to 1 watt.
@@tigrollin6450 I see, thanks. I realised I had vtx_power set as 5 so I increased to 7, I gotta test it out. But I am not sure how many watts it is. How do you know how many watts your vtx has?
