A lot of people complained about the exaggerated blue tint, but I honestly loved it. Gave it a great, realistic look and made it very unique.
You got conditioned to it. There should have been a gfx option given to turn it off. But no, they forced it on anyone, because some assclown had an "artistic vision".

We've come along way, but dice has never been able to replicate the dense atmosphere in bf3. And for a 2011 title, this game still looks fucking amazing!

All DICE had to do was improve the mobility, level of destruction.. Gunplay is already excellent.

BF3 really was the crowning achievement for the BF franchise and FPS shooters. I loved the maps, the loadouts, the screen (with maps, indicators, etc.) and the excitement of playing something that felt...real. I gave up COD because of BF3. The botched launch of BF4 made me pick up COD again. I really hope that the next BF game is more like BF3 than BF4, BF1 or anything from COD.

The memories. BF3 was my first shooter. I remember going with a negative K/D ratio for months, until I was getting the hang of fps. For me is like the first toy I ever get. I will never forget the excitement of winning the game, the frustration when killed in the last second of disarming and those beautiful maps. Thanks Jack.

I loved this game because it made me FEEL like a soldier. Guns were so satisfying and every player felt that they could change the game. Best battlefield game ever
Charlmao you never felt like a super solider like COD but you never felt like a spec of fly sh*t like BF1 or BF4. I think BF3 and BC2 did a good job at making you feel like a soldier.
I've never had so much fun in an online game as I have with BF3. The maps were so huge and the games would last so long, I would spend hours playing it. The amount of vehicles you could use, the destruction of the environment...The fun was endless. I might have to re-install it over Christmas.
We really need to revive this game again because people really dont understand how good this game was when it came out, it is still my favorite game of all time and I still play it till this day, And all this brings nostalgia to when I was younger playing it
There’s something about BF3 that neither BF4 or Hardline could come close to. Maybe it’s just nostalgia, but BF3 was pretty amazing in itself.
I. B. BF3 and BF4 are very good overall it's arguable to say which one is better but Hardline isn't that great but the gun play is good unlike in bf1 which is honestly as casual as it gets...

Battlefield 3 is one of the best shooters in history. Such an amazing game!
Both BF4 and BF3 are some of the best shooters ever imo. Both of them have great gameplay albeit slightly different since BF4 is more fast paced.
It seems like the graphics are better in this game than BF4.
Bf3 is one, if not my favorite game. Never realy liked Bf4 though, dont know what makes me dislike it. Perhaps its the gunplay or all those obscure gadets. Oddly enough I realy enjoyed Hardline, not as a Battlefield game, but as a fast-pased-infantry-based shooter. The gunplay and class balancing was really good, as opposed to the gun balanceing. (K10, MPX, M16 anyone?). The game had a hughe potential, but EA turned it into anonther rushed releace with preorder and season pass.
And so Hardline was the last nail in the coffin of Visceral. Makes me sad.
aHurrican it seemed like all the guns in BF3 were better. Like all the assault rifles felt the same in a good way like it didn't matter what gun you used.

This game has great memories. Me and my brother used to play all the time and now he's a diesel mechanic in the marines. Every time I see or play this game I think of him.

I understand you, bro. Got bored of BF1 because of it's casual gameplay in 10-20 hours, never want to go back to it now.
I got to level 94 in bf1 and I have no desire to play it anymore the progression needs major work in that game. The progression in bf3 and bf4 was the best and I loved how after each round the ribbons and medals would all be displayed one by one making you feel like you did something that round. I used to play bf3 for like 8 hours a day my freshman year in high school I loved it

barduk4 personally i feel the BF4 weapons are weaker, like i could take most guns on BF3 on a metro conquest game and just murder the enemies and mow them down with any meaty ass medic weapon. but the BF4 guns just don’t make me confident in my abilities to kill someone, i can’t melt like i used to be able to. obviously this is good for balance but it’s not how i remember playing battlefield

barduk4 it's all in the time to kill like jack said damage output was higher on bf3 making it easier to kill which means players played smarter to avoid dying constantly

This game is awesome. Even the anticipation music at the end of the level is so epic.
BF3 gunplay and soldier movements unmatched in the newer games. Hope BC3 is more fluid like it + other newer improvements with sliding climbing etc.

SUCH EPIC times on this game. Seeing 1000 token + games going down almost equally all the way down to last 20..10 tokens and seeing the whole team working together to the end. Truely great memories and lols, not a single minute I consider wasted on this game.
