So true me and my friends always do that until casualfield came along
I remember my friend renting out a server for 100's only, we would try to get a makeshift clan-battle-esc going on from about 5-9. I loved the suppression mechanic and how well it worked for team play. Just suppress the enemy an run in front of them, or flank them to get really easy kills since they're already supressed.
I discovered Battlefield 3 late and BF4 about a month ago. Back in the day, me and my friends were on BFBC2! We freaking loved that game!

I honestly loved the sun flares, blue tints, and suppression. Gunplay is debatably the best alongside bf4 but map design and inspiration was unparalleled.

^agree. Guns in this game were pretty interesting, really good variety in weapons without having poor balance for the most part. Best part of this game is the map design though. Some of the best maps in video game history, also the way that infantry gameplay was fused with vehicle gameplay. Nothing like an entire team supporting a LAV in that market map (forgot what it’s called) or on rush

Spent 2000 over hours in Battlefield 3 on PS3. Never spent more than 100 hours on BF4 and BF1. BF3 hands down the best battlefield ever.

DeezNuts 121 they’re close but i tend to disagree. I think the map design, gunplay, DLC, and damage models were better in bf3. Overall BF3 was more fun for me and I found BF4 to be over saturated with attachments and other stuff that didn’t need to be implemented

Please put back the attachments and customisation. Really don't dig the weapon variants style. Gets stale very quickly

They need to remaster this game. Leave everything the same just improve graphics and run it smoother that's it. This is by far my favorite first person shooter I've ever played.

What do you mean improve graphics? It looks JUST as good as BF4 or BF1, in fact, better, because it doesn't feel as eye-candyish. And about running...well... it runs excellent.

In terms of maps Battlefield 3 was the absolute best (Conquest & Rush). I loved the maps in the base game and expansions alike.
Bandar desert and metro were my favourites

JJ King rush metro all day long, that was my favorite.
I loved the customization in that game. Putting bipods and rifle scopes on the Scar and making a ghetto sniper was fun

The damn thing had better precision and DPS than the SKS.
I liked to make all the different kinds of ghetto snipers in bf3. If the gun had a sniper scope I threw in a bipod and and heavy barrel too and shot in single fire. It was "advanced paintball simulator".

BF3 is more skillful. This chance all. No Active Radar, No Passive Radar, No Mine AA, No unbalanced maps, No Base AA actived by spoting, Better Vehicle and Weapon Balance. On BF4, noobs can easily go better than you only using this shit things. BF4 is so more easy than BF3.
R Jasp bf3's map design was utter genius as far as making every round different. Bf4 = FIGHT ON THIS COOL THING IN THE MIDDLE EVERYTIME GUYS(skyscraper, dam, satellite dish etc.) Yawn.

I remember the game looking so good and looking smooth then I moved to PC and came back to ps3 like a week later. It felt so unplayable and looks so blurry and choppy.
Honestly even the lowest Graphics Setting on PC looks better. So many good memories on PS3 though

Holy shit I definitely replayed the ending commentary to the beat drop several times it was that amazing. It made me emotional. This he was great for its gameplay bit not just that, they put fkin work in even with shit like the soundtrack. James Goldberg In CQC it's where it's at!!! 1v1s or 1v2s are exhilarating because in BF3 it's not just about having the higher DPS output, or dancing around for 5 seconds trading shots.
Victor Ruiz That’s a good way of putting it, fire fights in BF3 felt like watching Iraq and Afghan footage because you trade shots rather than call of duties feeling of gunplay. Guns with nearly no recoil, all guns fire basically the same. The only difference is the look and the DPS. DPS shouldn’t really matter

In terms of map design, BF3 kicks ass. BF4 can't even say nothing about the map design. BF1 also have great maps even in the basic version of the game. I have some great memories with BF3 (back in 2011 I bough a brand new PC to play this game!). Happy that people still remember about this game!

There have been a lot of improvements to the series since BF3 but none of the games since have had as good of maps as 3, there were so many good maps and they're still great.

This game is still awesome, and I think it is because the devs focused on the feeling and experience instead of the competitive. Examples of increasing awesomeness but lowering competitiveness is the extreme sun, suppression, map design and destruction
This is what I loved about BF3 and battlefield games in general, like there is s legit war going on all the time, either someone is having a sniper battle, tank battle, helicopter/jet fight, or just infantry fights, this game and series is fucking amazing snd rarely ever disappoints if done by dice

I reinstalled this game last week and all I can say it that I took back that "blast" we all had when we first played it and it is absolutely awesome. I remember all the nights I spent with my pals playing that game it was perfect. BF3 for life !
I play BF3 a few hours every week and a only play on two different servers. I feel like they have a good mix of all DLCs. You were surprised by the aftermath server running, but like every third game on these servers are from the aftermath DLC.
I was once the melee god on this 😔 I met one of my closest friends who lives in the UK playing this game and I’ve kept in touch with him ever since 6 years ago. Never got bored of this game
This game is one of two reasons I built my first PC back in high school. God, I remember setting the game to install in the morning so it would be ready to play by the time i got home from school. One time, on this same map, I remember I was in a tank, and from one objective, I fired a round into the air. It arced and soared all the way to another objective where it clipped an enemy helicopter's tail, causing it to spiral down, crashing into the ground. I miss these Battlefield moments.

Instead of remastering it, they should just port the PC version. Higher FPS, better textures, 60 FPS and it replicates the feeling because its a port. Plus FB3 < FB2. Word.

Counter Strike, Rainbow Six, cod 4 and cod 5, halo 1, 2, 3, and reach, PUBG, And while I love counter Strike BF3 is probably my favorite shooter.
you just took the words from my mouth man. battlefield 3 has the best flow of any game ive ever played. i love siege and halo. but you cant beat that 32v32 BF3 gameplay. pubg was great but it loses its charm after a few chicken dinners.
I remember having to pick between this and modern warfare 3, and i'm so glad I picked BF3 instead. so many great memories, absolutely loved this game, and this video is really making me want to play it again.
