As for this song, Canopus continue my series of tracks dedicated to the stars.
Canopus is not only the second brightest star in the sky but also the star around which Frank Herbert created his memorable odyssey, Dune. This book has become one of my favorites in the past years since I read it, so I could not miss to make a chillout track dedicated to this star.
Since in the last film adaptation, maestro Hans Zimmer set the musical tone for the world of Arrakis, I took notes on how a song dedicated to that tft world should sound.
