Djd Ddd I’m a nats fan and a huge Harper fan but to be fair at the time it was raw as it was in this case not only a divisional rival, but it seemed like harper denied the nats when in reality the nats let him go

He’s got the flamboyance of Cobb and Ruth, the intensity of Rose and hits them out like Killebrew.
The one and only Nationals game I saw was from the second deck. Stretched a single into a double. I once heard him say he was only as good as his last game. That night when he slid head first into second I could see the intensity on his face from 70 yards away and I knew he was out to prove himself once again.

Bryce Harper is obviously a superstar. He isn’t the best in the league and honestly isn’t even a top 5 player but he is elite nonetheless. So to acquire an elite player in free agency the new norm in baseball is to pay ridiculous money.
