- Drinks Tube has caught World Cup Fever and Simone is here with the perfect remedy - the Summer Whisky Slush, a frozen cocktail that blends whisky with fresh pineapple, lime, mint and honey. It's cool, it's tasty and it's very, very summery. Scotland didn't make it to the World Cup, but if they did this would be the cocktail they'd be celebrating with. GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLL! I *just* made this and took the first sip. Utterly gorgeous. I've made all four servings for me, but maybe I'll share some with my husband. ;) This is a perfectly balanced cocktail.
I hate pineapples but I will do it anyway, just because Simone convinced me ;)

You can buy them online. If you do a quick search for 'paper straws' and you should find lots of these types of straws. They're lovely, aren't they?

Just tried a day ago, turned out really good! Definitely worth a try... :)
I dont know probably bells is not right whisky for this cocktail, or I just pour to much because its stronge taste overbeat other ingredients
+Tony K its all about balance, maybe add less whiskey, or maybe add a little bit more honey, or even one more half lime
If it must be scotch, this is a good choice. Don't waste your good scotch on girlie drinks. :)
