- Since I've been back home in Karachi (Pakistan) for over two months now and people are STILL GOING TO WEDDING/SHADI EVENTS despite it being COVID - I got inspired to give you guys the lowdown of what Pakistani weddings are actually like! Why do they last like 3 weeks? Why do you guys have like 4 outfit changes a day? Are you in a Bollywood movie or what?!?

Ok I’ll be honest. I’m super stressed. Im getting married to a beautiful Pakistani woman in about a year but I’m not part of the same culture and have never been to a Desi wedding. Going to be a lot of planning in the near future, and I’ll probably be lost 😅

id love to come to pakistan and travel the railways ... i hear its an experiance. what a wonderful video . well done on helping to bridge the gap between cultures , i live in a place called polloksheilds its the largest muslim comunity in scotland and since being in this area with my husband the respect and utter acceptance is phenomenal.

Pakistani weddings can be crazy sometimes, my cousin's Mehendi was crazy but fun, we danced rediculously, and during the Mayun my cousins and i didnt really like the groom now we love him a year later

Never been to a Pakistani wedding, at least not a traditional one. They do seem to like going all out that is for sure and it sounds like fun, even if it sounds a very complicated. By the way, surprised to see you without glasses on. You look amazing as always, love the outfit and the earrings.

1. There is a lot of people there
2. The events last multiple days
3. The clothes we have to wear are itchy as hell and if anyone says otherwise then your crazy
5. There will be a lot of people you don’t know
6. There will usually be dances performed
