    Leaperkim has just unveiled their groundbreaking 151.2 Volt wheel, the Veteran Lynx, and we're thrilled to share that we've had the exclusive opportunity to experience one firsthand. Our hands-on testing left us utterly astounded by the unparalleled quality of craftsmanship and the sheer, awe-inspiring power that the Veteran Lynx commands. Even legendary EUC rider Kuji Rolls says the Veteran Lynx handles better than any other wheels he has ridden.
    This wheel sets a new standard, leaving an indelible mark as a testament to Leaperkim's dedication to excellence and innovation in the electric unicycle industry.
    In this review, we unbox, set up, walkthrough, take it for a spin, and tell you what we love and hate about the Veteran Lynx.

    i havent gotten me an EUC yet but i want one for transportation purposes. this wheel definetly sold me. what doesnt sell me is the crazy price marker these companies are putting on these wheels. at 4.5k you can get yourself a fair car that can get you from point A to point B and hold some people inside and some groceries. i think the price markup is simply to keep pace with competition from other EUC companies, there has to be an end game for this product at some point. within 200 years from now if any of these companies still exist, im sure they would be making some sort of hover motorcycle at that point lmao.

    There's always a new, better, more powerful, more whatever wheel coming out soon. I just bought the Patton and have been mostly happy with it, but I think the larger diameter tire would be better for the off-roading I usually do. My Master (non-Pro) feels less tiring and more stable both on and off-road, though the suspension on the Patton is very good and not rattly. Also, the Patton has a remarkable range given the size of the battery. 40 miles with battery charge to spare is easy. On the Master with those high discharge cells and smaller capacity - not so much.

      @tremartin4727 The slightly less weight & extra safety features are the only 2 reason I would have chosen the Lynx over the EX30. The shock system also seem better as well but pretty much a none factor for me since being 52 I primarily just cruise streets & leave the jumping, going down steep steps & whatnot to the younger folks who bones can heal much faster than mine. Overall I'm pleased with my EX30 thus far but the Lynx probably would have been my choice if it was out before I purchased the EX30.

    In terms of torque, would this be an upgrade from a master ? I still love my master and put around 80kms aweek on it, the only trouble I have is overtorquing under braking. I routinely overtorque it when braking hard and feel the rotor skipping (I ride at probably close to 100kgs fully geared, and I'm a very agressive rider in Paris, so I need torque to outbrake and outaccelerate everything). I rarely overtorque it on acceleration due to my pad set up, but I'd do with more headroom still, would this wheel be for my use case ? Thanks !

      A wobble is a type of oscillation, just not the type you’re talking about.

    I have an EUC, but I wanted to get a folding ebike. After seeing reviews of a bunch of them, I realized how under powered they all were. I was just like, man... My lower end EUC can go up hills like nothing, and these ebikes I was watching were struggling to get up them. I will wait a little longer until a more powerful folding ebike comes along.

    Looks like a great wheel but not that much of an upgrade from my ex30 in terms of top speeds and acceleration (especially with field weakening in race mode) and less range than the ex30.. I'll wait to see how the 168v commander gt pro turns out.. will likely be a bigger upgrade power wise over my ex30.. for now my ex30 and Extreme already cover all my riding needs very well but this looks to be the best racing wheel to date made (for now)

    • @freshlycharged
      @freshlycharged  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The suspension is a lot better than the EX30 but you can upgrade the linkage or suspension on it. In terms of craftsmanship, the Lynx beats it in all areas except for not having a C40 high torque motor. I like the EX30 but I prefer the ride quality on the Lynx.

      I didn’t but I do think it would have issues over time. Luckily, they supplied us with the 66 lb coil to replace it with. Ultimately, Andrew would like the 70 lb one because of his weight.
