  • Little history lesson for you all: This hurricane was originally installed at 84th and Florist in Milwaukee in 1979. Later in 1998, it was replaced by the ASC T-128 that still stands in its location today, and the hurricane has been kept in private ownership of Dale Mueller, until he gave SWS permission to bring it to SirenCon along with the cyclone. The original blower I'd assume was scrapped, so staff jerry rigged one of the thunderbolt blowers (specifically a 4M) brought to it. Despite the troubleshooting, it's damn impressive what staff was able to do for a siren that hasn't been run in 25 years. We all owe a big thank you to Dale, SWS, and staff for making this happen! Thank you all for watching & I hope you all enjoy!

The fact that this was Jerry rigged on a thunderbolt blower makes this siren much more reliable since the blower won't fail as quickly as the hurricane blowers. Also here I though the current Milwaukee hurricane was the only one installed on the siren system. Wow!
