Anyway, I'm definitely glad to have crossed this off my bucket list. I didn't even tell anyone (aside from Mike) about my plans, so to see a bunch of others show up was a real treat! Despite having issues it's definitely still pretty punchy! That being said, however, Milwaukee really needs to replace this already. It's about to kill itself lol.

You know, a lot people give these a lot of shit for being "unreliable sirens" and this one apparently blows thunderbolts out of the water with its volume, with bare minimum attention.

Planning to film this the same month SirenCon 2023 takes place. Hopefully it’s still up at that time.
It will most likely still be up because Milwaukee can’t afford new sirens

That blower doesn't sound good! I hope someone will get to have this siren if it gets replaced.
(Un)fortunately, this siren is not going away in the long term. This is the only legacy siren to remain alive. Not entirely sure what the plan is for restoration, but the blower issue is well known.

Fixing time
I don't think it needs to be replaced. It would be way cheaper to just give the blower an oil change and swap or rewind the motor.

@@1000BT and also due to the comment section thanks for mentioning this, the trains that operate on the railroad tracks won't be able to operate (cuz it's not a car) and sometimes Thunderbolts themselves the sirens won't be able to operate (cuz it's not a car) so technically cars are what things use to operate, am I right???

Here is the siren that ASC pays their most dedicated attention and time too. Instead of fixing the "CompuLert" problems.
Or the reverse wired P-50s they 'intentionally' had wired that way.

This one had the horn angled slightly downwards from factory as a measure to prevent snow buildup in the end of the horn.
