- Is it possible to be approachable and manageable for a beginner but entertaining and capable for an expert? Well, Kawasaki might of came close to that magic mix with the 2024 Kawasaki Z500.

I hate the red, but love the design. Should have been green.
Great review, but the fork isn’t inverted. It’s just a regular right side up set up. That is, unless right side up is the new inverted.
At this point it seems they've swapped lol
Nice review. The TFT display is very nice along with the 450 Ninja too.
Great video , I'm deciding between z400 and z500
Need to make a Versys styled bike with this platform.
💯 it's hard to believe the X-300 still exists when these larger better engines are available.
And we STILL don't have a Versys 400!
You claim that it is woth to pay 10% of full bike price just for the tfy display? No way
I have a z500 base model. I am wondering if the improved "windscreen" on the SE provides any wind protection at all. Or if anyone makes one that does. I dont need much, but a little bit would be nice.
That little bit moves the air up enough to make a difference it’s a good fit for me
Yeah big difference if you're going higher speeds being able to tuck behind it. I wouldn't mind bigger, but I'm in no rush. The se one is plenty for now.
most videos about the ninja/z500 say they just lengthened the stroke. but on their website, kawalski says it's an all new engine.
which one is more accurate?
It'll need a new block to lengthen the stroke so that's "new."
is ithis or elimantor good idea for long distance touring? i am new and i have A2.
I am 6'2". I find it a little cramped. It has al, tge motor you'll need but comfort room is very limited.
Nice review.. between this bike and the new Eliminator which one would you pick?
Z500. The price needs to come down on the Eliminator for it to make any sense. What Kawasaki was thinking making the Eliminator cost $6500 is beyond me.
Funny I went into the Kawi dealership this weekend to potentially buy the eliminator until I the sales guy showed me this 😂 sleek as hell in person - the videos and pics do not do it justice 💯
Which is bigger z400 or z500
500 body like z650
Dislike green and also red wheels. Waiti g for whoye version. And o saw they have black version on google images?
This or the cb500 hornet?
If only the US got the hornet. I'd go hornet.
Who will gonna eat smoke and dust nk450 vs z500?
speak english
"They bumped up the stroke by roughly 6.8mm"
Roughly? Unacceptable. I measure piston stroke in microns. GET ON MY LEVEL.
Most manufacturers are missing the boat on what people want. OK Make sport bikes, cruisers and adventure bikes. But they miss the people who just want a plain old street bike . Call them retro or whatever. Regular handlebars, flat comfy seat, metal fenders, none of the pointy futuristic body pieces. Gas tank, seat, side covers, good old fenders. Maybe make bikes again that the seat flips up on hinges so you can get to the battery and other stuff . And your not scratching your head roadside as to how to remove the seat. Hmmmm….sounds like my 1979 Triumph 750 Bonneville or XS650 Yamaha twin
What the hell are you complaining about? This is that bike. Oh, it has pointy plastic...around the radiator and the headlight...get over it.
If you're "scratching your head on the roadside trying to remove the seat" nothing is going to help you.
@@aluisious I’m not complaining for me. I make my living repairing bikes for people that can’t remove the seat lol
Royal Enfield 350 bike range is what you are looking for. Personally I like most the Meteor.
I wish yanks would drop the term "beginners bike". So bloody patronising and a bike that is probably ridden by guys with double your experience. Who are you to define anybody as a beginner and this it what you should have? Thankfully we have the Atlantic to save us from the two wheeled nonsense going on over there.
I wish Brit’s would drop the term "bloody".
Umm, every motorcycle channel and publication in the UK refer to this as an A2 compliant bike for the new rider, so just a different term that means the same thing.
Ha ha in Harley World the Sportster is considered a beginner bike
No need to act like a wanker old chap. Show some restraint.
Like, first
How much fokkkking top speed?
115 mph
