Kenya | Oxfam and Merti Integrated and Development Program

Unfortunately, young women in many schools are often forced to stay home without the necessary resources to handle their monthly periods. This means they are missing valuable school education every month.
With our partnership with the Merti Integrated and Development Program (MID-P), 1,100 women now have the training and use of sanitary pads and life skills to help restore their dignity. In addition, millions of other girls have been able to start using reusable sanitary pads as well. This work is making an incredible difference to so many young women in school.
