You've got a very nice looking bike there! My grandpa owns one of these. Haven't driven his, but it's quite comfortable and has a really nice engine sound.

Thats a thing I do when the bike has not run for a while, just to check the clutch and hope that the clutch plates are not "glued" together. It is not a must.
I just turn the ignition switch to on position and press the start button. Then the fuel pump fills up the carbs. If it is not working, the clutch switch at the clutch lever could be bypassed.
@@kg9227 Is it a tach that ties into the ignition coil or does it wrap around the wire? And did you have to get a special converter for the dual/single firing mode?
BIKERS PLEASE. I got a Suzuki GS450 from 1984, it is in fantastic shape and i wanna keep it. However. I want a little more hourse power out of it, not much, just a little. The top speed is fine, i don´t need to drive any faster anyways, but i would really love more acceleration from 50 to 80 to overtake safely and have a little fun also... What kind of stuff do i need to buy to get more power? Please anybode help.

@@kg9227 Joo edellisessä pikku intikassa oli mulla myös sellanen harrika valo lokarin alla. Vaihdoin sillon siihen softailin lokarin joka vähän samanlainen ku tämä isolohko intikan. Täytyy kaivella joku valo netin syövereistä. 👍🏼 ainahan nämä lähtee käyntiin ku kaikki kunnossa ja matka taittuu aina määränpäähän eikä jätä välille. 😅

I have the EXACT same bike! I love the sound of the pipes. Question, why did you flip the clutch a few times before starting the bike?

what is that tach on the right of the speedo tach? RPM? if so, which one (link?)?
Electronic tachometer gauge, it shows rpm and clock. Can't remember if it was ebay or...

A pre dino tested carby upgrade kit with new jets and stuff insixe to plug and play would be your best bet mate
