thank you for this. i’m trying to impress my fiancée (i have bad anxiety). she has no air fryer so she thinks it’s the coolest thing ever. i am allergic to mayonnaise so i appreciate this. every other DIY requires you to use mayonnaise.

I've tried this but my air fryer makes my bread fly off and then the cheese slides off. What do I do?
Oh wow, your air fryer must be really powerful! I have never had this issue. I am sure if you microwaved the sandwich for a few second prior, the cheese would melted a little making the bread stick better. But I know it's one extra step and not everyone like the idea of using microwaves.
Spread some Mayo on the inside with the cheese

In the air fryer when it was done, it looked like you threw some Cheetos in it was so orange-
