I got my Krytac Alpha CRB a year ago and the first time I took it out to have a small scrimmage with some buddies, I ate this while running and slammed it into the ground. Only some dirt and scratches. It’s a damn good gun. Ive banged it around a couple of other times but it still runs damn good after a year. Good vid guys.

I love my krytac crb, I’ve owned it for over 5 years and it’s never failed me. All I ever had to do was switch out the fuse and the spring, well as r hop the stock barrel. It’s super competitive and works well. I’ve changed the externals to make it fit my style and that’s it. I’m able to hit head size targets from 200 ft with .30’s and that’s all I could ask for. I just want a reliable gun that’s consistent and lasts me for years.

I've owned a CRB Mk II for 3 years. I play at an outdoor field and I've dropped it on concrete (twice when I didn't put the sling on correctly) and have ran into door jams, and my Krytac hasn't broken. It's a good gun, but I got an Avalon right before Covid hit, so I'm bummed I can't compare how that performs compared to the Kytac. I also had gotten a Specna Edge around the same time just to see if it would be a good "back up" but I havent' fielded it. And my backyard is way too small to test them out.

I had a Krytac SPR for a bit and it was nice but I ended up selling it. I might consider the vector at some point. Krytacs are a decent value if you don’t mess with them internally because generally their qc is pretty good and they tend to like oem parts. Once you open them up and start changing shit is when they no longer are worth the price and you’re better getting a cheaper base gun

Late to this discussion, but providing a review nonetheless.
I purchased my Krytac Trident Mk II two years ago (June 2019).
Being new to the sport, but being an avid shooter, I wanted to mimic my real-steel rifle as best as possible. The Krytac is almost identical to my real-steel setup, regarding barrel length, total length, and even close to weight (empty).
In an early game in the "woods" of central Texas (yes, they exist; barely), I had to cross a heavily vegetated creek. In order to be able to better catch myself on the far side, I tossed my Krytac across the creek so that I would have my hands free. That toss resulted in the cracking, and the ultimate destruction, of my Haley Strategic Inforce Light. My Krytac, on the other-hand, didn't even seem to have a scratch on it.
I have since replaced the internals with a Polarstar F2 and UGS in-line tank and I absolutely love it. It always turns heads at fields and events. I've not had any serious issues with the gun itself.
The platform lends itself well to upgrades, while also holding its own if you choose to stay stock. The only reason I swapped was for dumb personal preference (I hate the sound of AEGs - sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me).
10/10, I am a Krytac fanboy - I tell my friends getting into the sport to buy them and I would buy my Krytac again.

Above all krytac is a workhorse. It takes a couple basic upgrades well but it doesn't need a lot.
A lot of brands have (a line of) guns that have the same performance. Difference is krytac doesn't do budget etc. G&g G2 series are very decent, but also have small issues. ICS are pretty good but pricy. Specna have a very good pricepoint but need to be opened and worked on. TM is to expensive for what it is honestly. Maybe KWA but it doesn't have some features other stuff has.

My field/group/team that I was a part of used krytacs as rentals. Out of about 20-25 alphas/tridents, we had zero problems for the year and half that they were used heavily as rentals.
Only time we had a “problem” was when one of our team mates gun case fell off a moving truck and it heavily broke the lower receiver, (the cheapish hard case was basically destroyed from the fall)
Other problem was the shitty pdw battery cap that required a tool to remove the screw (granted they finally moved over to a tool-less one now)
The other “problem” was the Tamiya connectors being bad and having the wiring come out of the connectors, we quickly fixed that by converting all of them to deans.

sounds to me like you are going for a DMR setup so as long as your motor can pull your gears fast enough for ya, then your golden. Bit of off-topic, but why does Evike have to come up with such retarded names for Cyma guns? QBS, Sportline, etc.... Just write the damn model number.
097/098 aren't the only Cyma guns with quick spring change, 009 lineup has that feature too.

    • @dmoose7066
      @dmoose7066 Před 3 lety

@@dainiusvysniauskas2049 so evike doesn't name cymas guns, cyma does. Second the 009 has a different quick change system. Qbs stands for quick buffer system. Because you unthread the buffer tube and take the spring out, completely tooless. The 009 takes tools to take the spring out. So you may not like their naming system, but it's a major differentiator on the market and it makes a lot of sense.

The only issue I had right out of the gate was trying to find mags to feed this beast in full auto as my collection of mags could not keep up but did work in semi. I found that PTS EPM mags only worked well in this format either semi/full auto. Not sure about other brands for this platform, but these worked the best. As for the new Krytac, wtf is this hot garbage with flat triggers...ugh, I hate flat triggers, reminds me too much about Paintball for fuck sake.
