For example would be harder to play for Liverpool or Arsenal as a defender or keeper. Especially with a highline.

The CB cover is actually good. My personal starting 2 would be Stones and Guehi, but i expect Maguire will start instead of Guehi. Branthwaite and Konsa are also good. At LB i would have liked to see mitchell, very good defensively against tricky wingers

Toney makes sense as a 2nd striker because Kane would most likely stick out the whole game anyway and Toney would be an asset for pens.

The defuse isn’t the best but Quansah could be a star in the making and would make a good sub. Maguire is usually good for England. I really like the fact that Trent is being used as a midfielder because with his crossing and shooting combined with the attack we have, we have what it takes to win the Euros comfortably although we always fail to do so and plus France is stacked as usual.

Bellingham is a midfielder...Scoring more goals then strikers this season doesn't take away that fact. Trent is still a Full back last I checked too until someone actually steps up and adapts him properly into the role.

Bringing the best out of Rice and Bellingham must be what the rest of Southgate's men should do. Can Mainoo, Trent or Wharton do that for the rest of our team/attackers? Will be intriguing to see if Eze, Saka, Palmer or Maddison can work well with the other named midfielders like Jones and Gallagher. As for the defence, Southgate can have no complaints in terms of depth.
Out of order not picking Butland honestly, he's been better than anyone apart from possible Pickford this season!
Dier has outclassed Upamecano in Bayern and can't get in... despite the fact he can play centre back and CDM, the two positions we desperately need a solid, experienced option.... by the way when he played CDM for Spurs their entire defensive numbers were incredible as they controlled midfield so well defensively!

Surprised he took Toney in, as a Brentford fan I havn´t been impressed lately, he hasn´t really found any form for a while.
I get Rashford's had an abysmal season but if you're going to include Grealish who has the same goal contributions as Antony in the best team in the world you may as well include Rashford given that there are ZERO players with proper pace in the attack, even if he doesn't play you need players who have different playstyles so you can make those adjustments to lineups depending on who you're facing.
Genuinely don't understand how Tomori hasn't made it either when he's better than almost all the center backs on the list. Southgate needs to go and fast, we already knew he couldn't coach a team for his life but if he can't pick the right players either then what does he do besides being a glorified cheer leader?

Kane, Foden and Palmer to start up front with Watkins as a sub. Who would want to defend against that?
Yeah we don’t have any left backs, but both Arsenal and Man City don’t play with traditional left backs either. They use footballing centre backs. No reason why Joe Gomez can’t fill that role. I would like to see us play more like City and Arsenal in build up. Ie Foden at 10 Bellingham and Rice as 8 and 6. Then have Stones pushing into midfield next to Rice allowing Bellingham to move forward next to Foden when attacking. Gomez and Walker then narrows to make a back 3. Out of possession fall back into a 4,5,1 or 4,4,2. This would also allow Kane to rotate with Bellingham or Foden. This does mean we need to keep wingers wide though, so my pick would be Saka and Gordon. Palmer and EZe would be the unpredictable options off the bench.
