Having not watched your 3hr video.....yet! Hope not to be speaking out of ignorance but I am, are there any flexy steels with say (showing my age) a Sportsman pro type rubber consistence? Ya need em bro! Ice skating with a slip of the human pressure modulator. Nothing but love from me bro
Anything done to the 6L80 to try keep it alive with your combo? Just out of interest does S mode shifting help the box as not to kick back gear etc. Great build keep up the vids
It’s still stock, TCE 3500 stall converter, Camaro pan & filter and a setrab cooler. I drive it in manual mode to avoid the downshifts, a lot of people agree that is a factor into killing them with power. Not expecting it to last long, will either build it or replace it with a 4L80.
@Andy J Built mine has 125k km on it and it is going already. I have just a cold air intake. Very sad. I would advise people to change oil every 50k Km

Hey mate, I’m about to do the same turbo kit to my VE Calais Wagon, tbh I’m a bit worried the 6L80E is going to lunch itself, how has your 6L80E held up to the turbo upgrade with the mods you did to it ?
Yep still hanging in there after 6,500km. I’m definitely a believer of mechanical sympathy and how you drive it helps keep it alive, I always drive it in manual mode and no full throttle downshifts. Trans cooler, Camaro deeper trans pan and filter, overfill the trans an extra liter once fluid comes out of the fill tube.

Definitely achievable, Killaboost entry level turbo kit is around $8,000, gives you plenty left over for the rest
Impressive as it is I think that is just way too much power under the bonnet.....
