Woohoo...the hills are thawing. And I got new tires. Time to play in the dirt. Judith could've made it through the last ice obstacle.

@ty_thejeepguy is it legal to run studded tires there in the winter? We can run them in Iowa for about 4-5 months during winter.

If you really want to challenge yourself you should just run your tires at normal PSI instead of airing them down every time and figure out how you can Traverse through the trail without having to air down. Find a new ways to challenge you and your rig is always fun even on the same Trails time and time again. In Texas there is a type of off-road anchor that a lot of jeeps in the trucks have that's part of your winch system you connect your winch to it and then you find a spot in front of you and you're driving into the ground and then you win yourself out you don't need trees or boulders open ground is all you need I forget what that thing is called

nice footage, could you show the gps at some of the trails you enter? it would be cool to know which roads and trails you are on in the videos

The Black Hills guys are a little protective of "their" trails.

You're very right, even though the secret is out. Most of it is pretty easy to find!

@ty_thejeepguy it's hard for us flat landers to tell sometimes what is what out in the west. I live in Iowa and there is ZERO public land. All owned by farmers. If I go on a trail somewhere i feel like I am trespassing, lol. I did pay for the premium version of On X though so I can see who owns what.

@@scootypuffjr. research is half the fun! I always want to encourage planning and research to appreciate the adventure that much more.
