- Silent Hill 2 is one of my favorite games, so this one was a bit more of a passion project than some others. Also, I highly recommend it on PC. it's not too hard to set up and if this cartoon gets some of you to try it! then it'll all be worth it! Also Happy Halloween!

Those letters are like jury duty once they start they aren't stopping. Then there's the shame and social embarrassment because *she* *knows* you're getting these letters. Not to mention you can't just throw them away, how heartless can you be? By a month's time you would have binders full of her letters showing the gradual progression of passive aggressive snark.
It's a bit of a hassle, it is. What would the neighbors think? Kiss those guest dinners and game nights goodbye.

i'm not a big silent hill fan, but I've heard from a friend who is more into it that it changes for each person. Like some people see it on fire all the time and stuff like that..? So maybe it has something to do with that..? I honestly haven't seen a single full beginning to end playthrough of a single one.

Imma say something I've been wanting to say about this channel for a while now, something Doobus does that few other CZcamsrs ever do; he makes his own dang subtitles instead of letting the autogenerator do the work. Not only that, he goes through the effort of making his subtitles funny, so they ADD to the comedy.
It's a small touch but I will always appreciate it.

Pyramid head slowly approaching people is so accurate. Like he's such a terrifying presence, and then you realize you can out speed him just by walking.

Spoiler below and trigger warning
Basically, when she was a kid, some burglars (corrupt cops in the manga) broke into her house, so her mother hid her away, but both her parents didn't end up surviving. Seras overheard what happened (her mother was killed near where she was hiding) and was very angry and upset, so she tried to attack the murderers, but they injured her. This is followed by what clearly broke her psychological: one of the murderers undresses and rapes her mother's corpse right in front of Seras with Seras, still injured, unable to stop it from happening. This event was burried deep within Seras subconscious but was recovered thanks to Zorin Blitz ability to mindfuck people, and thanks to Zorin recovering said memory, Seras is left on a moment of shock, which allows Zorin to slash her eyes and cut off her arm, and killing Pip. Fortunately, Seras is able to avenge Pip thanks to Pip willingly giving Seras his own blood as he is dying so that Seras may get a power boost and become a full fledged vampire (Alucard is able to do so much because of all the blood he drains, which in turn allows him to drain their souls). This allows her to take down Blitz.
Making jokes about Angela is impossible without instantly dooming your soul to the deepest circle of hell.
Making fun of Eddie, however, is lore friendly.

@@stadic69 Her story is really heavy and makes you really feel for her, which is even played out at the game about how you can feel for someone but can't really help them. The subject matter at hand is really really dark so it's not really tactful to make jokes about it.
I got SO nervous when Angela appeared 😭 she really deserved so much better.

Whoever wrote her story was tasked to concoct the worst possible setting of abuse a single human being could endure alive and absolutely succeeded at doing so.
Just remembering the entire story is absolutely heart wrenching.
Sad thing is, it does happen irl occasionally (minus the supernatural stuff). And in many of those cases, the mothers do blame the daughters. It's fucked up. All children deserve parents. Not all parents deserve children.

Just a reminder that Pyramid Head's canonical name is "Red Pyramid Thing," and I am eternally frustrated that name never caught on.
He doesn't actually have a canonical name. James refers to him once as "Red Pyramid Thing" because he didn't know what else to call him. Maybe he's a manifestation of Valtiel or Xuchilbara? No one knows.

I absolutely adore this cartoon. Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 4: The Room are my favorite silent hill games story wise.
Silent Hill 4 was the most deserving of a remake.

Also, when Angela came up, I was thinking, oh God please don't make a joke.....and sure enough, "I..uh..don't want to make a joke about this one" Enough to make me laugh at that alone, also major respect*. Angela gets a reaction out of me every time I play silent hill 2, and the scene where you find her in the room with the knife, I first found beautiful with the music and setting, but turned horrifyingly sad after I realized what she was doing.
Seeing Pyramid head in this animation has got to be the most funniest yet accurate depiction I’ve seen in a game parody, even I haven’t played it before, COMEDY GOLD!
