If you didn't hear yet, some left organisations and parties demand to rename all the Hindenburg squares and streets in Germany. I think that is an impudence, as Hindenburg was a genius military leader.

My great great grandfather was 1st cousins with the Von Beneckendorf und von Hindenburg Family. We had a legend in our family that our great great grandfather was apart of nobility, and thanks to modern science, we reconnected with our Roots! Glad to be apart of this great family!

So eine Musik verbreitet einfach gute Laune. Paul von Hinden burg kann man sich nur als alten Herrn in Uniform vorstellen. Alte Filmaufnahmen zeigen seinen majestätischen gemessenen Gang.
Hätte er das Dilemma als Autoritätsperson vorausschauend anders handhaben können? Manchmal möchte man in die Geschichte rückwirkend eingreifen. Doch das eherne Gesetz des unbarmherzigen Zeitkontinuums - unwiederbringliche Vergangenheit - blinde Gegenwart - unbeeinflussbare Zukunft in eine. bestimmte Richtung. Musik aber verbindet die drei Einheiten. Erfreuen wir uns an ihr! Und geben wir die Musik und unsere Freude daran weiter!

Beautiful! Many marches lose momentum by emphasizing bass parts in second movement , or simply don't flow well. This piece creates excitement and tension throughout! Love the change in key signature in the second movement that is so common in many German march and folk pieces; really don't hear that motiff/technique much in equivalent American music.
